Avoid this company.
On the last month of my cover they sent me a letter stating they’re going to charge me £150 more because I’ve gone over my mileage. This was during lockdown, I mean how could I have gone over if I’m not driving my car!
I then waited on the phone for 1.5 hours, the guy said on the phone it was my MOT which shows my mileage went over, mind you I had a month left for my MOT, so that was a blatant lie!
I was then asked to take a picture of my dash to show my mileage.
They tried to steal money from me and god knows who else they’ve tried this with.
Please all, avoid at all costs!

My dealings with Amanda specifically was overall positive. She was incredibly helpful and informative.

The only negative part of the experience was in respect of the quality of the call itself technically speaking which Amanda suspected was due to internal IT issues with the phones.

Essentially the call was causing delays where I was giving answers 2-3 times and Amanda never heard what I was saying for over 5 seconds each time. This was causing us to speak over each other and the quality of the call itself along with background noise was very poor.

Amanda, again who was very positive herself said that she would report the issue to the IT department. As it was a 10-15 minute call this unfortunately did lead to a frustrating experience.

No issues with Amanda herself though who was very helpful.

You deserve 0 rating unfortunately there is no option for that.
Alas, I did not read the reviews online before purchase since the purchase of this policy was hasty one.
The worst motor insurance company ever I have to deal with and it is just the beginning. I have not received any policy documents despite paid full year's price and their portal is a useless one. So Called 5 times to be able to speak to an agent. Every time they pick up and said transferred to someone in customer service and then long wait no answer, line drops.
Finally I was able to speak to someone who is very rude and patronising. Having had this experience with my first call I wanted to cancel the policy as I am within the 14 day cooling off period. The guy said cancellation fee £60 + arrangement fee £75 will be charged despite being with in 14 days of purchasing the policy. He gave me a big lecture on how much they paid to online affiliates and other expenses. Referred to him about FCA's general rule 14 days cooling of period, he said I agreed to T&C so I'll have to pay the above fees. I was tricked by the cheaper quote, the fault is mine for not checking the review online before purchase. My humble request to anyone who is looking to buy policy from them please read the reviews and give a second thought. You will find the pattern of their service from their review.£50 cheaper quote seems attractive but you will get what you pay for. If a first welcome call make that distress i would imagine how it would be to deal with them when making a claim.

I insured my car from right choice insurance brokers on 23/June/2022 with initial payments of £185. After 20 days I got my insurance cancelled on 12/July/2022. they re requesting outstanding balance of £351 after cancelling my policy, Instead of refunding me. Now they are using DCBL to threatening me. I have tried to called their number spoke with them.
Why they have to request for what doesn't exist in my policy contract. I should be expecting a refund from them. Moreover I have read lots of bad recession online about they re requesting unnecessary money from people. Where is the law that grant the request of money that isn't written on the contract. I want the court to start investigating the second party too before giving them legal order and even close your company down. Lots of bad reviews about scamming people's money after cancellation of the policy

Very poor service, if I could give it 0 stars I would. I called today to add a second driver and they told me I needed to pay an additional £200 for points on my license which had already expired. Not even this, but they also told me there was an additional £204 that I had to pay on my insurance, due to an accident in 2019 which was deemed by the insurance as not my fault , as the other car had hit mine. More over, the car which was involved in the accident no longer belongs to me so I have no clue why they would want to charge me .I have never in my life seen a car insurance charge you over £200 for someone else hitting your car. In the end, I couldn’t even add a second driver as apparently she didn’t meet the ‘requirements’ which I have never seen. When I asked to leave the company , they said I will only get a partial refund, resulting in me losing £200 forcing me to stay with the company. I would advise anyone to avoid this insurance please, as they will only scam you for more and more money . The lady talking on the phone was extremely rude, providing very poor customer service with little help. In the end, they were nearly gonna charge me for amending the purchase date which was absolutely shocking

My husband took out a policy which was a fair price. 10 days later they send a letter saying they have upped the price by £800 for a claim that was on my insurance but was not settled. Husband asked to remove me to reduce the policy back as was to be told they will only reduce it by £200. He asked to cancel the policy after only 12 days to be told the cancellation fee is £187. My husband stated that as it is within 14 days there should be no charge. They cancelled but 10 days later took the £187 from MY card and had set up a recurring card payment for the same amount each month!! Fraud at its best. I note from the comments RCIB state there are cancellation fees, what they don't tell you is legally there should be none within 14 days. They also kept the deposit of £54 and then sent it to a debt collector saying he had the policy for 14 days which makes him liable for the costs. Absolute scammers.

I wish I could put 0 stars but unfortunately that’s not an option.
horrible and rude customer service and staff, they charged me £200+ because I didn’t mention my expired point which I didn’t know I had to mention since the penalty was already expired. I had already paid £428 and they are only refunding me £220.
My advice to any new customers, please watch out for this company because they will just rip you off especially in this economy it’s annoying. Save yourself the headache of losing this much money unfairly.

Worst insurance company I ever had to deal with.

If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. In fact, 0 stars would be far too generous for a scamming company. They sent me an email with no explanation as to why my insurance was cancelled, as i was moving home. I had no internet and no letter had been posted to the old address, which they claimed that they had sent. Until now I have received no sort of refund and are not sure if I will receive one.

Overall, horrible company, look elsewhere for insurance.
