Right from the outset you could tell this was a caring, professional organisation with, crucially, the customer right at the heart of its core values.
Nothing was too much trouble. Every detail mattered to ensure the right policy cover was made available.
I rarely single out individuals but on this occasion felt that Mr Nick Best should receive a heartfelt recommendation. His caring, thoughtful and professional manner was a credit to the company. His emotional intelligence was such that you felt confident that he knew exactly what your needs were and that he would work with you to achieve exactly what was required. An absolute pleasure to deal with.
I and my wife have the very highest praise and respect for this company and would recommend unreservedly.
All I can say is I was very pleased....good price, clear details of cover and they didn’t keep bothering
me with e mails as some companies do !!
Received a welcome home e mail with a discount offer for my next travels....really impressed
Thank you World First....will definitely use again!
I finished up a trip after three months of travel back at the end of May and have had multiple claims in process for over two months now, during this time I have had absolutely no update from World First regarding where my claim is in it's lifetime after lots of time chasing.
Alongside that, I received a small payment yesterday without any notification and or breakdown of what is what for, but this is a minute fraction of the total claim and am now left clueless where the other lot is and if it will even be paid. I'm now short of £750.
You remember pre-covid - you get your Spanish Island holiday booked. You get travel insurance. Redundancy cover ✅ medical ✅ airline failure ✅
Good to go.
Except... Missed they wouldn't pay out for cancellation if fco changed advice to 'essential only', (naturally invalidated the insurance cover).
Some airlines are shamelessly still flying to avoid their refund obligations. No recompense either way.
Now you can blame me for missing this. Fine.
But my point is that most other reputable Insurance firms will absolutely cover this case. So why use someone like this?
What else have I missed in the clauses?
Shop elsewhere. Or be very careful.
