Like other reviews agree this company should be investigated. I tried to get a policy starting on Saturday. they took the money but I received no proof, certificate, or email to confirm insurance in place. Therefore did not go anywhere. On the Monday I got concerned as still no documentation and payment in pending at the bank. I had to cancel my card as I truly believed a fraudulent transactions. Then I remembered I had screenshot go compare and saw the crooks happy advert. I rang them and the saga began. To cancel it would be £60....but I explained it had never started as no proof of purchase and monies pending ...sarcasm followed by their customer service who informed me that it was not their fault they don't work weekends. I argued still no evidence insured (this was 10 am) Monday. No matter what she says it's £60 to cancel, and actually if I decided not to cancel the actual policy was going to be an extra £60.....con artists I am going to fight thid

I have been asked to review the service I received on my insurance renewal for my Motorhome Insurance. Although I do not normally do this sort of thing, I very much appreciated the assistance I was given by Mr Connor Webb on their telephone team. He was polite and very helpful and gave me very good advice on renewing my policy. Hence I am writing this review - hoping that he will give you the same attention which he gave me.

If you guys are thinking of getting motorhome insurance, don't use Staverley Head (onesure if Thier brokers) the policy isn't worth the paper it's written on and they when you cancel they lie and then threaten you to pay.... Just escalated to the FcA AND financial ombudsman.

Avoid at all costs they don't have a clue what they're doing.
Tried to charge me £1300 excess for a windscreen.
Lost the use of my motorhome for a month due to their total incompetence.
to add insult to injury they then tried to charge me £80--00 to change the place that I keep it.
Don't return calls when promised.
Should be banned from advising on any insurance policies.

So after 14 days they ask for a ton of documents which will take you a whole day to obtain, scan and send off. The icing on the cake? Cancelling the £260 policy after 3 weeks would have cost me £213. Yes, you're reading this right they charge you 82% of the policy to cancel 8% into it, so I had no choice but to play their stupid document game. Stay away from these greedy middle men.

Avoid this company at all costs. First they changed the mileage on my policy then they asked for so many extra documents that it became absurd. They clearly do this regularly as you can see by other reviews. After a few months of back and forth they eventually cancelled my policy (just after my direct debit) And as if that wasnt enough they have now added another £100+ fee to my cancellation so that I now owe them money! Ive now lost over £300 and have nothing to show for it.

BEWARE! Staveley Head claim to be "so certain they're cheaper than anywhere else, that if they aren't then they'll give you a full refund". To start off, they are not anywhere near cheaper than anywhere else, and this 'full refund' does not include any fees they decide to deduct from the original amount you pay. I've spent most of my day off work trying to claim back fees and I'm still trying now, currently with NO SUCCESS!

Very poor and unprofessional, you get what you pay for. I went back to Adrian flux after cancelling my policy.

The cancellation fee is absurd with this company so don't make the mistake I did and go with them in the first place 😠
