Bella Italia - Norwich Riverside

Lovely Staff great tasting pizza and pasta. Kids love it good selectiin of drinks and cocktails.

Bella Italia has very good simple dishes that satisfy the most demanding tastes. It was Monday at dinner and it was quiet which it was lovely because we had the whole restaurant for us. The hostess was very polite and kind. The dishes were very good. The waitress that served us was absolutely lovely 👍. Very clean, nice and tidy, and well organised. I enjoyed it throughly.

Place was alright but the menu was pretty plain. Was told you couldn't use discounts on bank holidays but there was 0 disclaimer on the website about it. On the expensive side, food is alright.

Went here for dinner this evening.

It was quite quiet inside, yet the service was slow. Waited about 15 minutes for our order to be taken, and 20 minutes to then pay after requesting the bill.

We had Clubcard vouchers which covered most of the meal, but without it would have been almost £50 for 2 sides, 2 mains and 2 pints of Coke Zero.

The food was fine, but nothing to remember. Charging £6 for some tomatoes and balsamic vinegar on bread (a.k.a bruschetta) when I could do the same or a better job at home leaves me having no desire to eat here again.

My girlfriend’s starter was warmer in some parts than others, and it’s clear that at least some of the food is pre-cooked and then heated up.

Wouldn’t cost much more to go to an independent and more interesting restaurant.

Tilly was excellent advising us about the children's menu for our 3 granddaughters and they ate 3 courses (all adult sizes)! She was very kind even checking our food was ok. Service was prompt even though they were really busy. Food was excellent- our little ones loved it and we will definitely be back.

Pleasantly surprised especially as the rating is so low. I dined alone and asked if at all possible for a speedy service due to being in a rush. Not only was the service speedy (during a very busy time) it was also very pleasant with friendly staff capable of holding a conversation unlike the usual gormless , uncaring brain dead ones you often find in many chain restaurants. A decent menu with ample choice, not exactly authentic but still very tasty and well worth a visit.

Very poor service. Had to ask for menus, then was told we must order on the app. Starters turned up nicely so they got the star for that. The mains turned up after a while and were cold. Wasn’t busy at all on a Sunday night and still buggered it up. Also took a while for drinks to arrive and had to clear our own table. Not very welcoming. Won’t be returning. I’d love a refund.
