Nice as always, quite busy like usual on this visit. The food is also to a quite high standard with a nice range of choice from pasta to pizza to items straight from the grill. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is in a very nice location just set back from the river. Never had any problems when visiting this restaurant. Overall a good restaurant, just not mind-blowing in any ways

Called in for lunch with work.. lovely menu for lunchtime.. I had garlic bread and a burger. Both very tasty. We had a great time atmosphere was great as were the staff. Highly recommend x

Dined as a group of 5 on a very quiet evening (3 tables including ours).
Menu looked very promising with a wide selection whilst still not overwhelming. The food arrived within adequate time however had an odd taste to it. Our server wasn’t particularly attentive and whilst collecting payment had a very distinct strong smell of alcohol on his breath.

The food was absolutely swimming in oil and I was very unwell when I got home. Not worth the money at all and feel ripped off. I'm only giving this one star because our waitress was very lovely and it's not her fault. Thoroughly regret spending money here.

As a side note, the giant glass things with oil and other bits in them look old, and like whatever is in them has become seriously unpleasant. We also noticed the jars of sauce used for decoration had a use-by date of 2016, which was a bit off-putting.

I've always been served with good food in the past visits and reviews have always been good so I thought this was a good option with great value for organising my first work Christmas dinner. Well I was so embarrassed and disappointed. The food was served so slowly. Food was cold . Pasta dried out with too much chilli,a simple cookie dough dessert with ice-cream and the cookie dough was burnt and inedible. Simple 4 cheese pizza undercooked so it was so overpowering with blue cheese. Took forever between courses and just overall the worst service ever. I wanted a hole to appear and swallow me up. I've never in my life complained before but I'm just devastated. I probably won't be trusted to arrange another group night out again.

Came here as a table 12 for my grandad’s birthday, the service was outstanding, starters, main & desserts all came out hot & at the same time. Can’t fault a thing about the food or service and even had great menu selection for my sister who couldn’t have gluten! Can’t wait to return

Highly recommend, very clean and tidy dinning area. Cocktails are strong and really tasty - recommend the alabama slammer!🍹 Food was lovely, served quickly and hot! The warm banoffee cake is amazing!!!

My meal was delicious. But my Mum's burger only had 1 patty (when it should have 2) and didn't come with the extra bacon that was ordered. They adjusted the bill for the bacon but that was about it.

The staff were friendly enough. But the toilets were appalling, the toilet roll holders didn't work and they were just generally untidy with bits of toilet roll all over the floor. Disappointing and surprising seeing as the downstairs and seating area looked so clean and we'll presented.
