Shambles restaurant & winebar

Wow, superb from the food to the wine, from the decor to the atmosphere and from the service to the piano. Faultless.

It was our first time at this restaurant and what an enjoyable evening we had! We sat outside in their pretty garden, which had a kitchen garden on one side.
The food was excellent and well priced. All four of us were so pleased with our choices.
The service was excellent too. Our food came promptly. The staff were extremely efficient, welcoming and discreet.
We all agreed that we would certainly return to Shambles after our very positive experience.

So good - it’s the only place in Teddington to eat. 6 for lunch - we went through most of the dishes on the menu and enjoyed every one of them. Lovely service, great ambiance and no rush ( 3 1/2 hours of fine dining ). If you haven’t been it’s time to !!

Just had lunch there. Lovely interior, staff very friendly while professional. Food is amazing. Freshly made pasta, crab risotto served in the shell, huge portion of tiramsu. Well worth the few extra pounds for the atmosphere, service and food.

Food, so so, service so so, tables packed together so difficult to hear each other speak over noise of other guests. Pricing on menu not clear and waiting staff did not point out evening set menu prices when we only wanted one course. Expensive for what it was.
Management and foh staff were not helpful and didn't handle a difficult situation well.
Third visit in 8 years, I've never been impressed, won't go back again and wouldn't recommend anyone else wastes their time or money there, plenty of other places in Teddington to eat.

Lovely place for special occasions. Vegan wines identified on the menu were a great welcomed extra touch. Vegan food options were also very well thought through and delicious.

Delicious and quality food with generous portion. Came here on a weekday for lunch with a friend, sat on the sunny patio surrounded by greenery. A delightful experience. Would come again for sure.
