Incredible! Chef Elsa and her staff are wonderful. The pasta is all homemade and fresh! Everyone should come visit here!

Lovely Italian restaurant just off High Street Kensington, on Kensington church street. It has few outdoor tables and more indoor, in its grind floor and mezzanine’s.
The owner is a lovely, talented and friendly Italian lady from Milan.
We ordered a bruschetta as a starter to share and it came in the shape of a pizza. Huge and delicious. Then we got the specials of the day, fresh handmade ravioloni filled with beef and onions and others with ricotta and tomato.
Highly recommend if you want to try something traditional and handmade.

We had the good fortune of discovering La Fortuna for our last night in London. From the moment we walked up there was something charming and inviting about this unpretentious restaurant.

The waiter greeted us warmly and obviously had great rapport with the other guests, many of whom seemed local.

Chef Elsa came out to tell us the specials and we settled on a seafood salad (grilled calamari, prawns, peppers, and langoustine, with plenty of greens and black olives)which was excellent. My partner followed this with a prawn and spicy vegetable ravioli and I had the penne alla carbonara (made properly with guanciale and no cream!).

Elsa and her team were lovely and engaging throughout our experience, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in London.

Oh, and if you know anyone looking for a waiting job in London they’re desperately short staffed!!

A beautiful gem located in Kensington Church Street! The staff were wonderful and very welcoming, with the Chef herself Elsa (who is fabulous and very sweet) coming out and speaking with us explaining her amazing specials. The food was to die for, homemade and fresh which is rare to find! The girasoli was to die for, would definitely come back for more! Such a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to all. A new spot which I will be visiting often!

Loved this place. We arrived for an early dinner and had a chance to talk to chef/owner. She is lovely as was our waiter. We ordered a salad to share. It was huge and delicious. It had green beans, asparagus and other things I have forgotten. My wife ordered a Margherita pizza. I ordered the homemade ravioli. Both were excellent. I especially liked the ravioli with Italian sausage inside. Overall a most pleasurable dining experience.

The best Italian restaurant in London, the dishes are absolutely beautiful and delicious, honestly I had the best time with my friends.
The service is really good, always asking if you need something, also they have a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome.
The place is like being in Italy, now it’s beautiful decorated with Christmas staff.
Go and try it by yourself ☺️

Wandered by La Fortuna by chance, the exterior looked charming and warm and caught my eye. The atmosphere was relaxed and the wait staff were engaging and knowledgeable. I was delighted to see there were a variety of vegetarian options, including two dinner specials, and the kitchen offered to modify dishes to make them vegetarian without even being asked. I enjoyed the fresh spinach and ricotta ravioli along with a glass of the house white wine. Finished with a decadent tiramisu. I would recommend La Fortuna to anyone seeking fresh authentic Italian paired with a relaxing environment.

I went in for a quick pizza last night and couldn’t help falling in love with this family-run Italian. The personality hits you when you walk through the door. Perfect date location and delicious food! The owners are super friendly and hilarious. I will definitely be going back!
