La Corte

The atmosphere is good. The staff are generally nice. There are good cocktails and drinks on offer.
The food just let's this place down though. For a restaurant of this calibre, reputation and price, it just isn't up to it. Within 20 min drive there are far better Italians. I'm not saying it's terrible, I've just never left impressed. I go because it's handy and don't need to drive home but often I wish I'd driven somewhere better and not had a drink.
On each visit it seems to get worse, not better. I really want to like this place but just can't.

Amazing !!! Would highly recommend. Venue, food and all the staff are brilliant.
On Sunday 19/08/18 i was a member of the wedding party at Kay & Jeff's wedding. The day ran so smoothly, everybody thoroughly enjoyed the special day.

In two minds about posting this review as it is so amazing I don't want everyone else to know about it. Myself and my family have been coming here for about two years and the quality of the food is spectacular. The mozzarella dough balls are addictive.
Cocktails are heavenly and I like the way the staff always talk to the children, instead of waiting for their parents to speak for them. They have occasional theme nights like family magic and live music acts which is nice for something different.
I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world and I am really fussy but have never had a mediocre meal at La Corte.

Beautiful historic place that has kept its character, Franco is a great host, all the staff is very professional and very nice, excellent cuisine, wines and wonderful Italian coffee !!!! We'll be back!! 😉👍

10 of us had a wonderful meal and I recommend the garlic bread (perfect), funghi for starters and the marvellous lobster parcels for main. The red wine was excellent at £18 a bottle and a second was soon ordered. Staff very friendly and enjoy some banter.

Food was great and reasonably priced. Service was excellent and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. Seems small but there is ample room. All staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food came quickly and there was no pressure to finish quickly despite the restuarant being fully booked for that evening. Would recommend to anybody who enjoys Italian food.
