Arabiata pasta - k1LL the cook

Red potatoes look like they've been malnourished.

How dare you put the word Italian on the banner.

Went for my son’s 24th birthday lunch with his friends. They are all autistic, but the staff were super friendly and helped them with ordering and catering for off the menu choices. Happy with the food and the service.

The worst experience I’ve ever had whilst eating out! ( we where the only customers there at the beginning so no excuse!)

- When booking, we asked for requirements for my disabled son which where completely ignored.

- The restaurant was over 30c in temperature, no windows open or air con on. Outside was only 24c!

- Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for starters to come, they then brought out the wrong ones TWICE, meaning one member of our table was waiting over 1hr 45 minutes to get their starter.

- Starters where burnt, bitter and straight up unenjoyable.

- After being at the restaurant for 2hrs and 15 minutes we received our mains. 2 of our tables burgers where burnt on one side to the extent of having the texture of charcoal. The chef simply put the burnt side facing down and covered in sauce in attempt to cover up.

- 2 food items we ordered where never given but still added to the bill.

Quite literally the worst restaurant experience I’ve had. 3 hours there in total. Terrible food, incompetent service.
Will be putting in a complaint with Frankies and Bennies. You shouldn’t be operating! As good as stealing peoples money.

Waitress was very friendly, we had a big order and the wait wasn't very long. I had a rack of ribs which was lovely. Checked up on us often to make sure we were okay amd tk clear our many glasses. It wasn't very busy though so got plenty of attention

Good quality, well priced food. Pet friendly (outside seating) and child friendly. Service was slow on this occasion but usually very good.

Me and hubby thought we would treat ourselves to a treat while the kiddies were away. The moment we walked in we loved the whole feel of the place, the awesome oldie music and decor made a lovely atmosphere. Staff were prompt and friendly, we decided to get various starters to share. The food was perfect and at a good price. While in there we said we must definitely bring the family here. There's a car park Multi storey just a few minutes walk from it and also practically next door to the cinema.

Visited here with my hubby, we didn't fancy a large meal so decided on a couple of starters and sides. The Waitress was lovely and the atmosphere was so chilled and relaxed especially with the great oldie music 🎶. The food was great and we already spoke about bringing the family back.

What can be said about this experience?
Our waiter was fantastic, Ryan, definitely went above and beyond, was quick to help with problems and very friendly. My starts reflect the service, which I find no fault in.
However, the food was.. Average at a push. We waited almost 2 hours for our food, which is not acceptable, really; thankfully I was with friends so the time didn't pass too slow. One of our side plates was not cleaned properly, and had cheese crusted onto it. I have uploaded a photo of my "gluten free vegan pizza", that originally arrived without the toppings that were ordered, and evidently inadequate amounts of cheese (barely visible.) The pizza was impossible to cut and I had to tear it with my hands to eat it. There were no starters available to me, even though they could produce vegan garlic bread, and a vegan pizza, they could not produce a vegan & gluten free garlic bread. Whole party underwhelmed by food, special mac n cheese was a let down. Drinks were nice.
The saving grace here was the desert. My goodness was it delicious. Completely gluten and dairy free. Perfect texture and flavour. I'd go again just for desert.
