Had a lovely family meal. Food was delicious.

Lovely little Italian pizzeria in a quiet, posh small British town not far from a few well-known places. Staff were super friendly, place is cozy and welcoming. Food was delicious. Even got a free tiramisu from the owners which was a big bonus (and delicious too!). If you ever stop in Witney, this restaurant is a must to eat out!

Visited but didn't eat. Love Italian food and we were in Witney so decided to try Il Gusto. It was a Wednesday evening, around 2030hrs, and we were the only customers in there. Ordered our food and then, after 5 minutes or so, the waiter informed us that the chef had popped home but would be back shortly, so expect a delay. 20 minutes later I asked if the chef had returned and was told no and the very embarrassed waiter didn't know when. Obviously we then left.

We were so disappointed! We have dined here several times and loved the authentic Italian food but this time the service was slow and the food awful, pizza was like a frozen pizza, pasta was tasteless, served cold and carbonara was very oily and not the correct sauce. Staff were busy chatting and eating/ drinking at the bar so service was slow and although they were nice the whole experience was a very expensive flop! We won't be returning.

Food average and staff pleasant, however the menu prices were a shambles and out of date inside and out. We were overcharged on our main courses. Very sloppy and unprofessional not to keep your menus and prices up to date.

I really enjoyed the cosiness of this restaurant.
The young waiter was extremely welcoming and attentive, solving any issues and working hard to meet customers needs, including that of my own.
I'd return to the restaurant in the future to experience other items on the menu.

Great Restaurant, the pasta with swordfish was good and the beef medallion fillers were beautifully cooked, the ambient was cozy, some music but not too loud so you can talk.

I’ll keep this short and sweet, we waited 2 hours for our food. 2/3 steaks were fatty and undercooked. Pasta dish cold….one of the dishes came out 15 minutes after everyone else. We disputed the bill and the manager called the owner who was quite threatening and rude…pointing his finger in my face and telling me to be quiet. Rather than being sympathetic and understanding was intimidating turning up in his adidas hoody like a gangster. Iv never known anything like it, avoid this place like the plague
