My husband and I love Italian cuisine, and were delighted when Bella Ciao opened because we felt that Pontypridd is lacking variety in its choice of restaurants at the moment. The decor is authentically Italian. The service is excellent. The menu is wide-ranging, with something to suit everyone's palette, and pricing that won't make you feel like remortgaging your house. We sampled the 3 course Early Bird menu @ at a very reasonable price of £12.99. The portion sizes were huge (we were nearly full after our starters!). The food was fresh and flavoursome. They also do an All-you-can-eat Pizza special, which we know our son will absolutely love! Overall, we were very impressed, and will undoubtedly make this a regular haunt of ours in the town.

Lovely place, 5 of us went for a evening meal on Monday, lovely choice on the menu, something for everyone. Starter mains and dessert was lovely, all enjoyed, staff where very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, we definitely be going back to try more off the menu.

How disappointing! I have ordered food then they called me back saying they don't have arancini, fine I've ordered meat board instead. On the collection I've noticed that there was a meatballs starter on my receipt instead of a meat board. Then I was told they don't do meat board for take away, fine I've ordered bruschetta. When I got my food there was 2 pizzas I've said I've ordered risotto, carbonara, margarita and one starter turned out they don't do risotto because of a limited menu. Shouldn't have the website been updated to let the customers know? The portion of a starter and a carbonara is shocking, for that price they should do slightly bigger portions at least! well overpriced! and the shape of my pizza, I don't even know what this is! First time I've ordered from here because of the reviews and I will definitely not order ever again!!!

Had meals twice
.
One eat in - great experience - ordered non pizza meals - Delicious
.
One take out - ok experience - ordered pizzas - dough was ok to nice, minimal toppings, poor presentation
.
Reasonably priced
.
Good service
.
Rosè and Brownies are separate purchases and not part of the meals we ordered as part of the takeout pizzas

After a busy afternoon of sofa shopping, this was a lovely treat. My daughter wanted to try some authentic Italian cuisine and this place did not let us down! Excellent as it is near enough in our doorstep. I just wish I was able to finish it all! We are looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you Bella Ciao for looking after us today.

Probably the best pizza I’ve ever had 🤩 Quality ingredients from Italy, cooked to perfection by Chef Mirko and his award-winning team ✨

Everyone in our group loved their food - the service and ambience in the restaurant was top drawer. Save some space for the cannoli - the crisp pastry shell and delicious ricotta filling is amazing!
