Iro Sushi (South Norwood)

They do good delivery sushi!
I am Japanese and the quality is acceptable. Not the very very best but something you would expect in London. They’ve got quite a good variety of sushi and my favorite is the Dragon Role which the entire role is deep fried! Just be careful when you order because there are multiple branches.

Me and my boyfriend are big fans of this place. We have been ordering via uber eats for a while now and have always received really good, fresh sushi and the gyoza is amazing too! Would order everyday if I could 🍣

Ive used lro Sushi 5 times and there sushi rolls are good...
My main order the Duck Raman has been very inconsistent in taste and quality.
Today like and the last two Raman I ordered its FULL of Duck FAT, SKIN also the taste of the little duck meat in the Raman tasted off and didn't smell good
.... OK for a sushi roll and thats about it

Been a regular customer for at least 3 years and was able to notice the changes in management overtime. I can now say that the quality of the food at the south Norwood brunch and customer service have downgraded, sushi is thick and hard to bite at times, and it doesn’t feel fresh as it used to be previously. Customer service is not what it used to be, barely hear a thank you or hello. After, experiencing the same poor service for the second time I won’t be ordering from the south Norwood branch anymore.

Who ever speaks like( " wow , or never tasted anything like that about a 10 quid sushi is mad !!!!and knows nothing about a sushi +has a twisted taste ) i have roamed the world for a decent sushi and that is not by far the one .
Price/qual. About 3 of 10 making it one of the best places in the area .

Ordered a vegetarian roll.. got sent a salmon dish. Phone is always engaged so basically got delivered a dinner I can't eat. Had issues last time I was in with card payments, insisting you pay in cash. Not good!

Nb edit - this was south norwood. Eventually they sent the right order but this was 2 hours later and after 2 phone calls

Sushi was delicious and didn’t fall apart unlike a lot of of other sushi places I’ve been to . Ordered the 18pcs platter for both salmon and tuna and was very worth it price wise . However , I did ask if it was possible for the salmon nigiri’s to be seared considering there wasn’t an option for seared salmon nigiri on the menu but they did have a seared salmon special so clearly they are able to do it . Just a bit disappointing because it’s an extremely easy request and many other places I’ve been to have always done it. Luckily this one time I was able to do it myself as the other person I was with had a mini blowtorch . They also were not stingy with the amount of fish they actually put in the rolls which was good .
