I was walking past this place and thought I'd give it a go. Claims to be "modern Japanese". I went for the Chicken Karaage.
I guess I was expecting something a little more “healthy”. It was all a bit greasy. I’m not sure what they did to the chicken, but it was like it had been deep fried for far too long and had become pretty much unrecognisable - it could have been any meat. If I hadn't known it was chicken beforehand, I'd have been hard pressed to tell what it was from the texture/taste. It had been dunked in some kind of sweet spicy goo before frying and that was all the flavour it had.
It came with sticky rice, which was okay and the few scattered bits of pepper.
For £6.50, this seemed a bit steep for a takeaway lunch of no great quality. I won’t be bothering again.

Had the Chicken Katsu meal multiple times (comes with a snack and a drink for £6.95 last time I went there) - tasty Katsu, good portion size and great wasabi peas.

I actually prefer the Katsu curry here to Wasabi.

I went there once for Amex Shop Small.
I ordered Chicken Teriyaki and salmon nigiri.
The salmon was very average, the fish was very thin and tasteless.

The Chicken Teriyaki was truly awful. The chicken was so dry that it eating it was actually a chore. But the worst bit was the sauce: it was burnt and tasted like burnt caramel, which is beyond disgusting.

Needless to say I wontw be returning. There are countless better option in the City.

Great place if you just wanna grab a meal during workdays. Their udon soup is fantastic, and they have a very wide range of sushi and it’s good! There are barely places to seat but it’s okay because it’s just for takeaway. Always packed during lunchtime. Their meal deal is also very good

Had a decent vegetable Katsu curry for lunch here. Reasonable price considering the portion size and area. The vegetables were well cooked, but dinged a star because I thought the curry was a bit bland. Service is friendly and quick

The takeaway yuzu chicken salad was aggressively overpriced for the stale, tasteless flop that it was. It looked very appealing, but I have rarely tasted something so flavourless with such uniformly unpalatable texture. The chicken was ample in quantity, but beyond unacceptable in terms actual edibility. Anything from Tesco or Sainsbury's is vastly preferable.

Possibly had the best chicken katsu curry here today. I don't usually get excited about this dish but found this to be done very well.
Also super quick and friendly service.
Would very much recommend.

I would like to thank Isabella and the whole team for their fantastic service: they are always friendly and helpful, and they find time to smile and have a quick chat although they are always very busy. The place is kept immaculately clean, and I have never had any issues with the food be it sushi or hot meals. Excellent hygiene. I have been a customer and a fan of K10 for a number of years, and the Coleman Street branch has by far the nicest atmosphere in my view. Thank you!
