A truly awful experience with the owner, Mark, who was extremely rude. I purchased an emerald ring which, once received, had a lot of surface scratches on it so I returned the ring explaining the situation. Dissapointingly having received a second, replacement, ring I found that there were still scratches on the surface i.e. it hadn't been polished properly. Having called and spoken politely to Mark to explain the situation without pointing fingers or getting angry with him he told me that I would never be happy with any ring I was sent and that I should go elsewhere to purchase the ring. Aside from being extremely rude, I never received a single apology for being given two £2k rings that both had scratches on them. This isn't a £300 ring from H Samuels and I would have, in the very least, expected him to have checked the second ring before sending it out to me having known what was wrong with the first one I returned. Overall I would seriously consider spending your money elsewhere. After visiting Hatton Garden I picked up a beautiful ring that had no scratches on it, the assistants were very polite and overall I was far happier with my purchase (and my now fiancée was too).
