Nice shop, good choice of jewellery

Great selection of jewellery. However very patronising staff. When I went in to get a jewelry evaluation, upon finding out I had purchased the items through auction a few years back, the staff took on a defensive tone. Despite me having the proof of purchases. They were polite but in a manner which said they wanted me to leave. A male member of staff came out and asked the lady helping me if she needed him, in a tone which suggested she might want him present whilst I was in the shop. Which I took extreme offence to. They then told me they would give me the price of the silver but not the gem, with out actually giving me a price at all or a valuation. If I had been wearing a suit and told them they were passed down to me they would have undoubtedly had a different tone. Very patronising and unwelcoming despite their politeness.

Visited on various occasions and had bad experiences on all of them. Very openly rude to younger customers, and I was made to feel very unwelcome. The owner was very rude when I came in with a querie.

Very helpful friendly staff.
