I went to this jewellery Shop today to change the battery of a watch. I was talking to the lady and I asked how much it would be and the man from the back said it would cost £7 but as soon as the lady gave him the watch and saw the brand said £10. As soon as I left as they told me it would be in 30min (I thought it’s very expensive to change the battery, which the battery costs £1 and to change it is basically 2min) Anyway in the end I came back to get my watch before they were changing the battery as I felt like they were stealing money because was a good brand (not expensive one but a decent one) and maybe they thought I didn’t have a clue when actually I come from goldsmiths family background. (But they didn’t know this 😂)

Really excellent service and great value. Took my garage remote fob for a new battery. Got a replacement within minutes even though it’s not a standard battery. Highly recommended.
