Very poor experience at Not Just Silver on 06.09.17. Unexpected and unjustified request for additional charge and extremely rude reaction from staff when I said I was not happy to pay.
I took a pair or earrings in for repair (one was missing a stone) and was quoted £28. I received a phone call advising that the charge would in fact be £30, to which I agreed. When I collected the earrings, the repaired stud had been cleaned and polished (I had not requested this), but the other had not. This caused them to be mismatched; they looked completely different in terms of colour and shine. I said I was not happy, and was informed they would send the second stud to be polished so that they would look the same . When I attended to collect, I was asked to pay an additional £18. I explained I was unwilling to do so because I had not been told there would be an extra charge, I had not asked them to clean and polish the first stud (only to replace the stone) and that common sense would dictate that if they chose to clean/ polish one of a pair, they should also clean the other at the same time. The male member of staff immediately reacted in a rude and angry manner. He struck out the charge with his pen, slammed his book closed, and shouted, "this is what happens when you try to do a favour for someone" (Im not sure what "favour" he had actually done). He shouted "Good day to you" in a dismissive and angry tone. When I attempted to reason which him, he again told me "good day to you!!!" in a loud and angry voice, effectively telling me to leave his shop, which I did. I sent an email requesting an apology for his rudeness, but received no reply. I would not use "Not Just Silver " again and would not recommend it to any of my friends.

Really poor service. The lady took our order for an engraved 50th birthday present. She could not fulfill our order and cancelled at the last minute without a hint of remorse or even the smallest of apologies. In fact the only thing she did do was hang the phone up, and refuse to answer it again.
Really poor show, from a really poor lady from a poor jeweler who thinks she is better than everyone as her shop has a Weybridge postcode.
We then used Amazon who managed our order, and delivered it within 12 hours.

I've taken two items of jewellery to Not Just Silver for repair.
First time I collected and paid for the repair, only to find that the repair had not been carried out so I had to return the item.
Second time, the repair was poor quality, gold soldering had blackened a link, I am now potentially expected to pay more £ for a poor repair in the first place.
Poor quality repairs and un-apologetic service.

OK while you are spending but dreadful otherwise - I cannot recommend.

I visited Not Just Silver in 07/18 to buy a birthday present for my daughter, a new Pandora bracelet for her charms. They don’t stock Pandora but the lady insisted another brand would fit – she’s the expert so I paid £45 (same price as a real Pandora). It was very disappointing that on my daughter’s birthday we discovered it didn’t fit. I wouldn’t have risked an unhappy daughter but gone to Hersey in Walton to get the genuine thing had I been told it might not fit.

I returned it and was told they have nothing that fits Pandora charms and I couldn’t have a refund (needed to buy what my daughter wanted obviously). The stony-faced owner said I should have read a SALE sign in the window saying no returns and it was also on the bottom of the receipt. In the style of “COMPUTER SAID NO” she refused to refund me and shrugged off without an apology despite the fact that her employee had misled and mis-sold me - she said, “too bad”. After a heated exchange I had no choice but to take a 90-day credit note (although they are shut in August). BE WARNED!!

Me and my partner got our rings valued here and got our engraving buffed out. The store owner & employees were all so lovely and helpful. We got the rings back quickly after. Really happy with the service that was provided would defiantly recommend. Thank you
