Varoshe saved us from despair.  For our bespoke wedding rings, we had engaged a 'Custom' jeweller based in Maidstone town centre; initially a pleasant and reassuring experience, however, we started seeing warning signs when the owner kept postponing the start of work, and we eventually decided it was too much of a risk to stay with them once we had only four weeks left until our wedding and still no design (the guy finally admitted, after months of mucking us about, that he was finding the design too tricky!). We were recommended by a friend to try Varoshe.  Clare very warmly welcomed us, understood the predicament, and gave us an honest account of what would be possible in the time remaining and managed our expectations.  Fortunately, with only four weeks to go, a lot was still possible.  She broke down each of the steps to completion and gave us a timeline with milestones - it was tight, but possible.  She took us through many variables from our original concept, and carefully explained the pros and cons.  Her expert guidance from many years in the trade and specialism in jewellery design helped us to realise a much better solution to work with the awkward profile of my wife's engagement ring.  My wife is a designer, and so the requirement for detail was exacting, but this was no problem for Clare, who was able to mock-up some great designs and then refine the chosen one.  Once we'd agreed the many requirements, Clare and Paul set to work very thoughtfully, and proactively updated us at each stage of the process, keen to keep our anxiety to a minimum.  Nothing was too much trouble (even if we proved to be at times!).  Appointments were convenient and flexible, and tended to feel more like an enjoyable chat with an old friend than a service provider.  Much to our relief, we were able to collect our rings a few days ahead of our departure.  The rings were superb and we love them; such a pleasing and perfect result, especially given the time constraint.  Clare is very warm and pleasant (yet professional) to deal with, and Paul is a dedicated and excellent craftsman.  For that special piece of jewellery, we very much recommend discussing it with the excellent Varoshe team in their charming studio environment in West Malling.

Clare was so helpful and knowledgable when I went in to get my engagement ring valued and enquire about bespoke wedding rings. She sent over the valuation quickly and it was really well presented, exactly what I need to get my insurance sorted. The shop is lovely and Clare makes you feel so welcome. She also cleaned my ring for me and it seemed to come out looking more sparkly than it did when I first got it! I highly recommend Varoshe if you're looking for unique jewellery and brilliant customer service!

I wanted a nice piece of jewellery to give to my wife on our anniversary and I have to say that they did not disappoint. I didn't want to get my wife something mass produced and so went the bespoke route with Varoshe who worked with me to develop my idea into a beautiful well crafted piece which my wife is still over the moon with.

We bought two custom wedding rings from Varoshe in September 2022.

Having looked around all the usual chains and a few custom shops around the local area, we stumbled into Varoshe and opened with the line "we have no idea what we want". Clare patiently and expertly guided us through ring choices, designs, metals...and our own indecisiveness. Throughout the whole process, she exuded a warmth, humour and a genuine care for our wedding day that shone through.

Even when minor issues around the final design arose, Clare made amendments and kept us updated without any fuss or objection. We felt like we could absolutely trust her with such an important aspect of our marriage, and in the end we were crafted two beautiful wedding rings which were absolutely perfect.

Found Varoshe Bespoke Jewellery through google and based on the reviews though I’d pop along, was looking to have a Mappin and Webb diamond ring resized, (which I’d never been able to wear as to small) the original jewellers that I purchased it from said it would be to tricky due to the intricate design. Not a problem for Varoshe, who from start to finish were professional/careful and gave me the best advice, after all these years I can finally wear my ring. So impressed and so grateful thank you

After nearly 36 years of marriage, my 9ct gold wedding ring had lost all its original basic engraving and was looking very ‘tired’. I found Varoshe Bespoke Jewellery via Google and, upon reading its excellent reviews, I sent a quick enquiry email. Right from the get-go Clare was super helpful. I emailed her a picture of a flower design I liked and she reassured me that what I wanted was possible. I gave permission for my original ring to be melted down and for more gold to be added. Clare kept me updated at every stage via email and after only 3 visits to her shop in West Malling and in just 8 weeks, I collected my ‘new’ revamped wedding ring.
