I went to Christopher Wharton on a recommendation from a friend - and couldn't have asked for more. The service was exemplary, and I was guided the entire way through the process of buying an engagement ring. I was shown examples and ideas I hadn’t thought of that actually paved the way to what I purchased - and there was never too much I could ask of the team. I couldn’t recommend Sam and the team more highly. Another thing worth mentioning that sets them above the rest is the aftersales service, we’ve had nothing but good experiences. 10/10!

We have had a brilliant experience with Whartons. My fiancé designed my ring with the help of Sam. I then returned to have it resized and had beading put it. This all took place on the day whilst we enjoyed a lunch in St Albans. I then returned to Whartons to discuss options for my wedding band. Sam was very helpful and was able to design and create something that fit my very unique engagement ring and also our budget.

Having lost some weight I could no longer wear an emerald ring that I got got my 40th birthday. I also fancied a bit of a remodel for the ring and pendant set so I popped in and saw Sam at Whartons. He took time getting to know my likes and dislikes, showing me different settings and making suggestions for the new design.
After selecting some elements from different designs he worked up a CAD drawing and after approval made a wax model for me to look at and try.
I am now the proud owner of the most beautiful ring I’ve ever owned and the pendant matches beautifully too.
Great service from a friendly team and excellent craftsmanship in making the final piece.
I would highly recommend and will definitely go there again if I need (or want!) anything new!!

I could not recommend Christopher Wharton's jewellery highly enough - we bought my engagement ring and then wedding bands for us both and could not be happier. We decided on a Criss Cut diamond which is a little bit unusual and Wharton's helped us purchase the exact stone to meet our requirements, going above and beyond to secure it and make the most beautiful ring. All whilst dealing with the Covid pandemic and uncertainties all businesses have faced - but nothing ever felt like too much trouble for Chris and the team and the customer service delivered really has been second to none. I would recommend anyone coming to Wharton's for the Quality, Craftmanship, and service I was provided. I purchased a Sapphire Engagement Ring with Diamond Claw and Platinum Band.

I spoke to Sam with 2 weeks (if that) of time to prepare an engagement ring for my Partner (having sadly been let down by another Jewellers). I spent an entire day searching for a Jewellers and couldnt find any that matched both my price and quality with the time frame I needed. Sam managed to achieve this, as well as provide great customer service and exceeded both mine and my Fiancè's expectations. I felt accomodated and relaxed when I was in Wharton Goldsmith's and they were helpful and supportive in providing a service to myself, particularly given the timeframe I had to set out.

I ordered a ring from Wharton Goldsmith for my wife for Valentine’s Day. I had tried my best to get the correct size using my wife’s other rings and an online ring sizing tool provided by the brand of ring I was buying. When the ring arrived, my wife was very happy with it with the exception of the size - it was too big. I got in contact with Wharton Goldsmith via email and was excellently assisted by Nicola who sent me a ring sizing band to more accurately measure the correct size. Based on that I returned the original ring and Nicola ordered the correct size from the manufacturer. I have nothing but praise for this company. Their pricing was the best I could find and that alongside the excellent customer service from Nicola made for a great experience. This was all achieved even though it was 100% online due to the lockdown. I highly recommend them.
