Communication was bad from the start, then a 5 months wait for a class. We weren’t told rings couldn’t be a certain thickness until the class, which was to short to complete what we wanted. Then no communication on the delivery of rings, having to wait over 9 weeks for them. Save yourself the disappointment
The shop itself is very charming. We had a chance to look around and admire the beautiful, unique peices of jewellery.
We are both super excited to unwrap our rings when they arrive.
Thank you!
----- OLD REVIEW -----
While Posh Totty have great jewelry designs, the staff and the way they operate is completely unprofessional.
We ordered two rings back before Christmas, and the quality of the etching was very poor - letters were all in the wrong position.
To their credit, Posh Totty were very keen to redo the etching, and so we gave the rings back to the Islington branch and told we'd receive them back in about a week. But little did we know that we'd be entereing a month-long smoke-and-mirrors discussion with Posh Totty trying to track down the status of these repairs.
It was extremely difficult to get a straight answer from Posh Totty. Every representative from the company we spoke to gave us a different story. Some said "just wait a few more days and you'll get your rings", others blamed COVID, blamed new and/or untrained staff, blamed the Christmas period, many promised callbacks which never came, but none were able to tell me when our rings would be ready, let alone where the rings were located - it was like coming face-to-face with the worst type of call center experience you might get from a huge conglomerate corporation.
The general tone of the staff ranged from confused to outright dismissive - I was asked several times *after* I had given the rings back for repair "but what should we do", as if I knew how there company worked - it's completely baffling.
The phone lines are barely operational, and the email service is only slightly better - it felt like Sherlock-bloody-Holmes going back into the store about 3 to try and get any nugget of infomation to track the whereabouts of these rings.
As I say, now the rings have been found and repaired - I am very happy with them. But damn, guys, sort out your internal communication because it leaves everyone involved utterly confused and exacberated with your company. I hope you can work it out, but have to give an honest review for now.
