Shopping experience at Cornell & Sons was first class, as ever. With a traditional, knowledgeable and personal approach to service; it's shops like these that make high street shopping such a pleasure.

Having spent months looking for Engagement Rings Online, and in two countries abroad I decided to buy the Engagement Ring in the UK.

I visited all the large high street chains and had varying experiences, including two excellent experiences. I had not lived in Maidstone for a couple of years and I had forgotten about Cornell & Sons (as most of my preparation shopping had been done online where the high street stores have a big presence).

Most (maybe all) of the GIA Certified Diamonds I had seen so far in the UK were Colour i (slightly tinted white) and Clarity i1 (P1) or i2 (P2).

I saw that Cornell & Sons had a Diamond Ring that was the identical style I had been looking for, and at, in other Jewelers. This was not a great surprise as I was looking for a very classic style ring. What was a welcome surprise was that they had higher grade diamonds available.

I was able to purchase the exact style of ring I had wanted with a Colour G (Rare White) and Clarity Si1 Diamond for around 300 GBP less than I had seen (for the inferior diamonds in other shops) in one high street shop and almost 500 GBP less than I had seen in a second high street shop.

I was over the moon. Exact style, better colour, better quality and better price. Thank you very much.

They did have to resize the ring for me, which they did quickly. I have looked as hard as I can and it is impossible to see where the join is. Apparently they use a laser to cut it, which I did not know.

Everyone there was very friendly, polite professional and experts in their field. I am sure we will be a customer of theirs for life.

Popped in at lunch for some advice about an old ring of mine that had bent and the lovely lady in there immediately helped and fixed it for me. Amazing, friendly service.

Closing down, bargains galore
