We’ve recently bought our beautiful engagement rings from Kayes and couldn’t be happier. Having spent most of a day looking in the various jewelers in Chester, the welcome and service we received at Kayes was far superior to everywhere else. All the staff are lovely and a special mention to Carinth who spent a lot of time with us to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. We opted for one custom made ring, that closely met the specifications of the first. Kayes made the whole experience extra special, we loved the process from start to finish. We’ll always now consider Kayes as our number 1 choice for future purchases. We’ll obviously be back for our wedding bands closer to the big day. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Kayes Jewellers. I bought an engagement ring very recently for my partner and she is beyond overjoyed with it. I was warmly greeted by Nick and the team who made the whole process friendly and enjoyable. They were extremely professional, from the initial consultation to picking up the ring. I have been to other Jewellers in Chester in the past but since finding Kayes I can confidently say that none of them come anywhere near the standard here. I had been looking all around Chester and visited countless jewellers looking for a ring for my fiancé to propose with. I happened to walk past the shop on a whim and noticed in the window what I could only describe as the perfect ring I had been looking for!

I walked in and was greeted so kindly by everyone there and throughout the whole process I wasn't once made to feel pressured at the shop like I had been at other places. So I would just like to make a special mention to Gill, Pippa and Carinth as they made the experience of ring shopping so easy and enjoyable and every time I popped in they just wanted the best for me and my proposal.

Absolutely amazing service!! After coming into the shop with a very specific ask for my engagement ring Carinth, Nick and the team were able to design and make my dream custom engagement ring and 2 wedding rings. The service from start to finish was amazing and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and they answered emails and calls straight away. The finished product is stunning and I won’t go anywhere else now for my jewellery. I haven’t stopped raving about it and we couldn’t be happier. After 2 failed attempts at getting the engagement ring of my fiancée dreams from other jewellers in Chester up stepped the team at Kayes to sort it out and boy did they sort it out! WOW WOW WOW!!! We were so nervous after the other experiences we had in Chester but we shouldn’t have been Carinth looked after us with such professionalism you can tell she absolutely knows her trade and you can trust that she understands your vision. Upon collection we met Nick who had personally overseen our build and you could tell was so invested in the outcome. Both couldn’t have provided a better experience or outcome. Absolutely beautiful jewellers in the heart of Chester. I was looking at their engagement rings through their window one day and made a point of going back there as they stood out from the rest.
My partner and I didn’t make an appointment but we were made to feel instantly at ease by Amanda who welcomed us with warmth and friendliness . She was so lovely, along with the equally lovely Gill who we ended up chatting to, we didn’t want to leave.
We were made to feel so special and I ended up with the engagement ring of my dreams. It’s absolutely stunning!! Lovely store and amazing, attentive staff and the jewellery is to die for. We will be back. Thank you.

Terrific experience buying an engagement ring from Kayes.

Having grown up locally, but living in London these days, I decided to come back here for an engagement ring and very pleased I did. Great personable service from Carinth selecting the ring style and stone, and the workshop were able to turn around the setting in a couple of days in time for the planned proposal a couple of days later.
