Best jewellery shop. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful, if a little pricey, jewellery. Extra price does cover lifetime assistance though and they make people feel very welcome. My wife loves them.

Tiffany and Co. Established in 50s of the XIX century, prides itself for fine luxurious jewelery for men and women. Whilst this is the very true fact about the product quality it does not go in line with customer experience in Tiffany shop in Royal Exchange London. I purchased a Christmas gift on line and when received an email to inform about ready to collect went the same day to get it. Upon arrival (since health crisis lockdown was on), security officer led me to the front of the see through shop and asked to wait. Security inside on the other hand struggled to get anyone to assist me. One lady said something along the line "I know nothing about it" looking at the mirror checking herself, whilst other was slouching on the chair browsing emails looked over her shoulder and send security elsewhere. When security returned to my sight "slouching lady" made a massive effort and stepped out from the shop finally asking "how can she help me"...then as per protocol (after explanation) I presented my ID and purchased product was prepaired.

As a company with nearly 200 years of heritage my expectation about the service was as luxurious as the product, however the conduct of employees on the ground was far from it...the bad thing is that as a customer you see it all. Buying an expensive/ luxurious product reflects on experience of service...(I would be served better in Pandora shop or other high street Jewelery shop then here). I did not hesitate to make a remark about the above however I only received " I am sorry you feel this way"... So I got myself an expensive gift and will not EVER return to Tiffany for more...The customer experience in Royal Exchange branch must change to be an ambasadors of the brand, regardless of pandemic or not. I am incredibly dissapointed.

Quite frankly the reputation for good customer service is highly overrated. I went into the Tyffany store at The Court Yard Royal Exchange to buy a chain for a gift. The initial welcome was nonexistent and eventually when one of the staff came to me the interaction wasn't necessarily welcoming. The woman asked me "can I help you"? I explained why I was there and she just walked off without saying why or what she was doing. I still proceed with the purchase after waiting for another staff to finish serving the people he had there. No one invited me to take a seat while I was waiting or bothered to glance with a smile. It reminded me of the scene from 'Pretty Lady' when Julia Roberts walks into the "rich" store (even though there's nothing rich about the look or location of this particular store) to be snubbed at. I actually regret buying the gift there but unfortunately for me I had run out of time to go somewhere else.

Just popped… I was told I could not take photos of the potential items I wanted to buy????and that the website would provide that items to view!!! Really? Horrid stuck up staff!

Staff are rude and do not allow you to browse without them right next to you. I went to find a birthday gift for my wife, completely empty store and the sales bloke (in a very rude way) said I could only have him show me things, not browse. Now, this is an absurd policy given if I were to have a quick browse then I would not necessarily be in close contact with anyone versus what this store wants is to have this guy hovering over me the whole time. Basically, if you don’t already know exactly what you want then you should avoid. In fact, I only went in out of convenience as it is my local - I’ve had previous poor experiences with this particular Tiffany’s and this recent experience has turned me off for good.

I used to like this shop but was not very well looked after recently when I took a piece of jewellery that had broken and it was a clear defect. Staff did their best to absolve responsibility so that the shop doesn’t have to cover the repair. Not a great attitude from such a reputable business.

Arife at the Royal Exchange branch is a true gem, she was amazing in helping me decide which ring to buy during the lockdown. The in-store experience provided by her was unforgettable, she made us feel really special. Thank you again Arife :)
