F.Hinds the Jewellers

I was somewhat sceptical about buying a watch from the high street when the internet prices appear to be lower but as my wife is old school we popped in. The shop was nice and we found the watch that we wanted and the price was the same as Amazon. On top of that they adjusted the straps on premise and we left with a watch. We could look and feel our goods before purchasing and got them adjusted and can take it back at any time if there are any problems or further adjustments, perfect. I have been looking for such a shop for a long time and I am so glad I came here. To top it off they even sorted out two of our older watches in less than 10 minutes! I strongly recommend this store to anyone who wants an expensive watch, that has real customer support backed behind it and doesn't want to get ripped off by the other big names on the high street that are just a sales glass window and goods have to be shipped off to get fixed or altered.

Went in to buy my granddaughter a watch for Christmas. The staff are friendly and helpful. The assistant showed us all the watches we asked for and all the time asked questions like age and liked. The shop is great for ideas. We came away with a beautiful watch. Will be back for other items.

I went into F. Hinds in Nuneaton today to get 2 watches mended. My Citizen Eco - Drive and a Casio G-Shock. Both watches needed the straps sorting out. My Eco - Drive needed a link mending and my G-Shock needed a new strap attaching.

I was greeted warmly by two delightful ladies - Sandra and Elaine. I asked then if they could sort my watches out and they said they'd see what they could do and to pop back in 30 minutes.

I gave then a call about an hour later to be told that both watches had been sorted. When I enquired about tne cost, they said free of change.

I went to pick up my watches and tried to give then something for their time, however they flat out refused. I offers to let them ring something through the till for a fiver, they still wouldn't have it.

I promised then that because they wouldn't take any payment, that I would leave then a glowing review instead.

Its nice that someone can do something for someone without wanting anything in return. I can tell you this for nothing, if I an ever in need of a place to repair a watch (or buy one) in tne future, F. Hinds will be me 1st stop. Not because i expect anything done for nothing again, it's because I appreciate that times are hard and jewellers weren't classed as essential during the pandemic so you know they are feeling the pinch like everyone else. They have a town centre location that can't be cheap and probably massive overheads, yet they still didn't charge me. Admitedly it wasn't a big job but time is money and they took the time to fix both watches for free. That means an awful lot to me.

Sandra and Elaine, you're complete rock stars in my opinion and very kind hearted. The world could do with more people like you. 🤗💚

Took in a ring in that had been damaged and needed the band reforming. I was working away from home when the ring was damaged and was told by several jewellers it would need to be sent away to be repaired, so I decide to wait till I came home to sort it. I'm so glad I did because the lovely Sandra simply fixed it while we waited! Speedy, friendly, cheerful service and absolutely made my day to have my ring back on my finger. Thank you!

The ring is better than new, unbelievable craftsmanship.

Very helpful staff and very knowledgable. Asked me what occasion I wanted the gift for and who it was for. Even the other members of staff chatted to us and made us feel very at home. This is our 3rd purchase from this store and it’s a thumbs up from us!
