Dipples Jewellers

My initial visit was for advice on either the repair or replacement of a bracelet on quite an old watch. I was served by John, a very pleasant and helpful person. I opted for the replacement and, within minutes, the replacement was sourced from the manufacturer, apparently the last one in existence. This item was available for fitting in less then the anticipated delivery time. When I took the watch for the bracelet to be fitted it was done by John whilst I waited. We were able to purchase a replacement gold necklace chain from stock there and then for my wife. That was dealt with by Ebony. Dipples' staff are most friendly and helpful and the company has a very varied stock of jewellery, watches and clocks.

We found John to be very knowledgeable and helpful during our recent visit to Dipples. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was very patient and assisted hugely with helping me to decide rationally on my final choice, without being a "pushy salesperson". He obviously listened to the criteria I provided at the outset. This was excellent shopping experience which is often difficult to find these days. Thank you John.

Johns passion and knowledge of watches is what made us choose Dipples in the first place.
Many months ago he approached us when we were simply window shopping, admiring the display.
We must have spent a good 15 minutes just chatting about different makes and we left with a big smile on our faces.

We visited the Norwich store to look at wedding rings. John was helpful and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions with patience and professionalism. We had the most lovely experience picking out an engagement ring with John’s help. He got in touch prior to the appointment to ask if we had anything in mind that we’d like to see, and when we came in, he had hit the nail on the head and had brought out several options that were all beautiful and exactly what we wanted to see. John was not pushy or sales-y, and never once made us feel silly for asking questions (in fact, he took the time to teach us much more than we ever knew about diamonds!). We ended up cancelling our other appointments to go to other well-known Norwich jewellers that day because we found exactly what we wanted.

I was looking for a quality watch for my son for Christmas, something robust and reliable which will last. I knew Dipples was a local independent jewellers with a good selection of brands at different price points, and there were several models in the extensive window display which looked promising. I took my son in and we were served by John and the experience could not have been better. I explained the type of watch we were looking for, and he invited us to take a seat while he selected a number of watches for us to view. Being able to handle and try-on the watches was great, and John explained all the features in great detail and the advantages of the various movements. We had been looking at watches online and already had an idea about what we might choose, but that changed as a result of John’s advice and seeing and feeling the quality of the watches for ourselves. John was clearly an expert and not a salesman, and I had absolute confidence that his advice was genuine. There was no sales pressure and certainly no encouragement to extend my budget. My budget was relatively modest but we were treated as if we were buying a Rolex! The watch we settled on was competitively priced, came with a six year guarantee and the confidence you get when dealing with a local and trusted specialist. I consider our visit to have been one of the best purchase experiences I have ever had, and would recommend Dipples unreservedly.
