Eltham Kebab Express

First time we ordered disgusting food .chips were like cardboard and cooked so many times .doner meat had no taste, salad was poor no cucumber 1 piece of tomoto. The best bit was the drink ! Even had the cheek to put a service charge on and it was not cheap . Not even fit for a dog !!!

The best Kebab in the area. The service is great, great guys that are always going the extra mile. The kebabs are always huge portions! I love it. I would suggest they remove that paper from underneath their Kebab rolls. It always gets soaked and you have to be careful. Other than that it's my fave kebab shop. My son loves the burger. It's a good portion size for the kids.

Pleasantly surprised with the lamb shish and chicken shish, tasted amazing, so much flavour. The donor was nice aswell with decent portions sizes, enough to get full on. Next time will try the burgers as they look delicious.

Have used them for over a year when first discovered the kebab meat was nice and thick which is tasty but now it's thin so not as tasty. Salads on kebab reduced too. I don't think i will order again from the latest incident where i ordered and was given a higher price than on the menu leaflet, when i enquired the higher price the man got annoyed, shouted something then put the phone down! I think he said there's a misprint on the leaflet price. Rude/not good customer service.

In my own experience this take away has been good to me they’ve been giving me fresh doner meat and chips all the time with their exquisite sauces. There chilli sauce is absolutely sublime a little spicy but just the way I like it and having that with garlic sauce on a kebab is great the staff are friendly and the time I wait to get my food is short don’t be fooled by the negative reviews just give the kebab shop a go I’m sure it’ll be pleasant:)

my go to order is meat and chips, It is hard to find a good kebab place. I have eaten quite a few kebab places around SE9 area and some places i find the doner either to dry, too thin or small portion or not enough salad and they charge you an arm and a leg Or you have to pay salad separately. I've used Eltham kebab express a few times now (because there isn't much good ones on well hall road) and found the portion size was decent, small was enough for me but if you are hungry you can opt for med or large. I once got med as my eyes is bigger than my stomach and it was abit too much for me.

I must admit the doner meat could have been cut thicker to have that think piece of meat but it wasn't thin. It was in between. Their salad portion was good, its piled high in the box. The chips was cooked lovely, not dry, soft and fluffy, love their homemade warm chilli sauce and its got a GOOD kick to it. I even got myself a soft yet tasty choc fudge cake here.

I highly recommend this place, its decent, good price and lovely staff.

I ordered a large lamb shish and cheesy chips. The lamb was old meat squashed flat 6 pieces in total and covered in old chilli sauce. I did not order any sauces. The salad was bare. The cheesy chips were ok. Will not order from this place again. My trust in just-eat is fading.

My order came way before the estimated time, and was left on the floor outside my front door. What I’m I a dog? Looks like they’ve done that to a few people reading the reviews. Disgusting behaviour!
