Hi
I am a regular customer of Sultan Restaurant on same Road this is first time I have been to this Restaurant. I was there at lunch time they were almost packed we had platter No 2. It was so fresh and delicious we had very good time very good service. I had some food to take away as well. ‏As I was going to recommend this place to someone I was shocked to see many negative reviews. I normally don't leave reviews but as I have tried all of them Sultan , Wazir, Farooz all in ilford area this one is one of the best Turkish place. These negative reviews not doing justice to these people. They are charging almost same as others. I would recommend this place, just try them once give them a chance.

Absolutely vile. Never ordering from here again & strongly recommend no one orders from here. No standards for food at all. Donner was burnt, stale & smelt horrible, extremely overpriced too. If you want food poisoning & soggy fries with a side of warm pepsi that tastes like its been in the microwave then this is the place for you. 0/10.

The food that I had was delicious. A lot of flavours in the shish and the sides that come with it. The chicken shawarma was filling and also tasty.
Unfortunately the service was terrible. The waitress talked to us like she was somehow bothered about us being there. It's hard to explain but basically she was like what do u want? She speaks well English and understands fine but her attitude is rotten. The man behind the till area with brownish hair also was horrid. No smile and when I asked him about the lunch menu, he was very slow in his response and the tone he used was rude. I wanted to leave before ordering but my husband insisted in staying especially as we were both hungry. We asked for tap water but waitress advised us that management have banned her not to give any to any customers. I explained that it was a legal requirement but she shrugged her shoulders and said its not up to me. At the end they over charged us (by 2 quid) I noticed and approached the waitress straightaway but she got defensive. Said no darling you are wrong. I asked her to look at the menu to check. She realised and got the man to give my refund. Then they started talking very loudly to each other in their own language. Which was very rude. I know it was only £2 but its about the principle of it. She reacted in a silly way. Their customer service really needs to improve. We went on 31.08.2022 around 4ish. There were no other customers, must be because they had just finished lunch time.
I really enjoyed the food and would have loved to go again but not sure if I will because of them.

The waiter she is like upset that you came to eat .We were 2 people ordered 2 chicken shish however in the menu is that you get salad and rice included in each meal we received only one salad how can 2 people share a small salad?the chicken shish was undercooked it was pink inside.the staff they look upset and moody. The smell in the back off the sitting area is horrible smells like drainage.I do not recommend this restaurant or whatever its called.its disgusting. If you care about your healt stay away.

Friday night take out! I fancied a mixed grill for quite some time but kept putting it off. I've had food from Salami's before but never a mixed grill. So we ordered the Salami Platter 2 which should serve 3/4 people and believe me you would get filled up. Anyway great taste, great food, quick delivery and decently priced. Loved the cold dips and sauces.
What could go wrong. NOTHING. Thankyou Salami's.

I had come out of London starving after a gig at the O2 arena. I wasn't paying 17 quid for a single slice of pizza there. I knew there were some takeaways around Gants Hill and stopped at Salamis. Absolutely fantastic place, really welcoming with good prices and gorgeous food. It is now on my sat navs favourite places and any time I'm in the area I'm going back in there for sure.

Ordered both the chicken and lamb doner. The chicken doner was drenched in oil and overcooked. Couldn't taste the chicken at all and just left a bitter taste. Avoid.

The Lamb doner was a bit better but it still very dry. Nice meaty taste but the quality of lamb used was sub par.

The garlic and chilly sauce was lovely.

I won't be coming back.

Food was good, Lamb Donna and chicken shish top! With warm hot sauce give a good kick in the winter. Service could be better.
