Kent Charcoal Grill

Worst lamb shish ever had!!! Meat was dry and taste weird, defo not lamb, more like beef! Insted of garlic mayo came with some white sauce with dill! Salad was awful, rotten pepperoni etc. Food was cold as well. Ordered a big shish and get like 8 small pieces of meat. I was very hungry after a long shift so I ate it. But shouldn't. Next morning gave me a proper diarrhea as well!!! Avoid them...

I ordered kebabs for me and my wife which took a little longer than expected, we didn't mind this as they may have been busy!

The order arrived but to our utter disappointment the food was stone cold! We totally understand that food sometimes is not piping hot but on this occasion with the lateness combined it was not acceptable!

We decided to call the shop to make them aware but they were simply not interested and the man we spoke with showed zero empathy and failed to even apologize!

3 stars is a very generous score as I don't like leaving bad reviews but they lost a customer tonight! Very poor service overal! Sometimes an apology goes a long way!

My advice, order from a different Kebab shop!

I'm actually quite disappointed and I said leave a review. First visit. I'm afraid it was not what I thought it would taste like after watching the chap in action on the charcoal grill and him saying that people come for the real charcoal cooking. The chap was fairly quiet and not the best at communicating so I can see why people may mistake him for being rude.

The food looked amazing, spelt divine. The taste was the let down and roughness of the lamb. The chicken was by far better and if I revisited I would not touch the lamb shish. It had no flavour was just so darn dry and not what you would expect from a charcoal grill cook. Which leads me to blame the meat the ingredients. Was this a one off or is this it? But wheres the flavour? Wheres the seasoning, lamb should taste of lamb not dried beef.

Give it a go, maybe my first and possibly last visit was a blip?

Lamb shish under cooked soaking wet bread not grilled. They cooked food on a side bbq. Absulute garbage. Never go their again.Only interested in taking your money.

After reading the reviews we decided to give them a chance and Order well should of listened to the reviews
We ordered a salad and pitta the salad was just a box of lettuce and the pita bread wasn’t even warmed and was so wet!

I ordered a “large chicken shish” in the box was about 5 bits of chicken smothered in mayo for £11 and to top it off there was a bone in one of the bits of chicken.

Really disappointed avoid at all costs

Food is always good but they delivered my food an hour earlier than I'd asked for!! Luckily I was home by then.

Ordered food online through their website. After an hour the food hadn’t arrived so I called them and they asked me to keep repeating my name then dithered and told me it would be 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I attempted to call them again using my phone and both times they hung up. I then had to use my daughters phone to call them in which they immediately answered. They then asked my name and address and asked if I’d ordered a combination kebab which was completely wrong. At this point I asked for a refund because I knew they would mess up my order, he then told me he needed to call his boss. We are now ordering from another kebab shop and will then call him up to ENSURE we get this refund. Wouldn’t recommend; bad customer service and didn’t seem to care that they weren’t checking their website orders.

I've ordered twice from here, both times the food has been great. Ordered the Mixed Grill for 2, it was delicious. However, the lamb Shish was abit dry and there was bit of mould on my cabbage. But other than that it was great food.
