I want to start this by saying that on a one off these are the best kebabs in Stroud. However, if you go there regularly things are a bit more difficult.

On several occasions I have ordered my kebab and been presented with a wrapped kebab, with salad and sauce, both of which I have not been asked about.

On the first time I returned it, and tonight having wanted a kebab with chilli sauce and sides, management assumed I wanted garlic sauce and no chillies. My kebab was already smeared with garlic mayo when served to me and having complained they added a thick chilli paste (basically inedible) rather than than the usual liquid chilli sauce and gave me 15 jalapeños in a separate box! Who wants 15 Jalapeños?

The point is we just want to be asked what we want and then get it, as we are paying for it after all, and this place seems to be losing that focus. Ask your customers what they want and they will be happy. Please don't make assumptions.

I've lived here in Stroud all my life and I've never eaten from here. A friend of mine owns a pest control service and he has told me enough to not eat there. Anywhere in a restaurant where you need pest control every week and sometimes twice a week tells me enough.

The worse, The food was very cold, having to use the microwave to heat it up and the desert is very poor. Will not give a refund. Their hygiene rating is 1 out of 5

Wow! I walked into this establishment and the first thing you notice is the smell. Imagine working through a market on a summer morning - what hits you first is the meat aroma, and what amazing meat aroma it is. And then comes the kindness, the servers smile washes over me like a powerful wave. When you get order, regardless of the chosen kebab, you know you are getting a blessing from heaven. I then dance on the tables, hit the boxing machine (yes I go to the gym) and devour the food. What an experience. At the end I nod to the person behind the till, and leave with a smile on my face

The worst food I have ever eaten. If I hadn’t paid for eat, I wouldn’t have eaten it.

The lamb and chicken were badly cooked and the chips were burnt and full of oil.

Our dog even refused to eat the meat. I will never order from this establishment again. They should provide buckets with their orders.

Disgusting attitude, service, food! They are just out to take you for every penny, no customer service. God knows what goes on behind the scenes however I’d stay away. Order At your peril. From my point of view Charcoal Grill is the worst abomination I’ve ever seen in Stroud. Best of luck salmonella is probably on the cards

Ordered a BBQ based pizza and received a tomato sauce base for my 7 year old...
On this pizza was peppers because he loves peppers but it was to my surprise to find him in tears with his red and swollen lips after bitting into a jalapeño. NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. Apart from the following hour of howling from my Son the pizza was okay.

Have to say, the pizza arrived hot, the wine was cool and the delivery driver was bar none. Asked if I was okay last week and explained my dad had passed away, he wasn’t a “creep”, he was kind and respectful! Bless his heart, good as gold, came back tonight the pizza is good etc…. hence the four stars! Well done him. Give him a pay rise!
