Clay Oven Fast Food

The food was shocking. Ordered from uber eat. No salads no sauces when we ordered them specifically. We asked for nan bread but received pitta bread. The food is very salty and not even worth spending your money on it. Wouldn't order again for sure. It was just meat and bread thrown in a box and delivered. Considering how much they charge you, the quality is absolutely disgusting. I would give a zero star if I could 👎

Detailed review:
I ordered through Uber eats and felt it was on bit overpriced due to the high delivery fee and uber charges.
As recommended by the restaurant, use their website to order next time rather than through uber eats. The delivery fee within 3 mile is £1.20. I also noticed that the price for the items ordering through the website where approximately 50p higher than ordering through uber eats for the below items.

Lamb Kebab - large - £8.15 rating 7/10
Chicken Tikka Kebab - large - £8.00 rating 7/10

In both meals, the quantity of meat was more than expected and cooked well. The lamb was a bit chewy but tasted amazing. Similarly, the chicken was marinated well with the right amount of spices but was missing the magic.

They both were served on a large nan. The app doesn’t state how the kebab will be served. The nan was a bit tough but was filling. The sauces were provided in separate tubs but weren’t enough (1 chilli and 1 garlic) and the nan ended up being a bit dry. I would suggest providing a bit more sauce and probably have butter or oil when heating the nan. They also provided a regular salad with both items.

The customer service was excellent as we ordered the food to the wrong home, but when we spoke to them, they were happy to inform the driver and get it right.

The food was nice and the delivery guy was nice but the food was so expensive and for no reason. It was the exact same as every other fast food place, the same beef patty and the same chips. I got it thinking it was unique because of the prices but really, its just ripping you off.

Usually good and we order regulary, but kebab came with donner meat i didnt order splattered all over my chips which ruined them and the other meal came as a small rather than a large.

This is my go to place for great kebabs and pizza. Always top quality
