Star Kebab House

We always get the Bala special which is great for two people, really good portion and great value for money and I've never had a bad meal from here and been coming here for years. The kids get the cheese pizza, cheeseburger or chicken burger and they're always lovely too and it's their favourite place to get a takeaway in Bala.

We went in today for 2 tubs of pizza sauce for a special occasion. The guys serving us were lovely and understanding. The food that was being cooked as we spoke looked brilliant and the menu was perfect. Food looked brilliant and price ranges were what you could dream of. 10/10 recommend visiting. Great staff and very clean.

Ordered through their website and waited 30 minutes for the website to tell us to collect our food only for it to never tell us. Went to collect the food to be rudely told they had waited an hour for us. Food ended up be very salty and just not too pleasant. They also forgot to give us our two cans we ordered. Didn’t want to go back to collect due to the poor service.

My family and I visited this kebab shop because the reviews looked good and apparently halal food is served there.
However, when my mum asked politely if the food was halal and if they perhaps had a halal certification. The staff were unbelievably rude and said they get 'many customers who are like you but they never ask me that' and then told us to leave.

Would rate it a zero if I could. My mum asked a singular question if the food is actually halal there and the store owner seemed to think it was okay to insult my mum for asking. Then proceeded to tell us to find another place in an instant by saying that he gets "many people like you and they never ask me that". Absolutely shocking.

Went here and had quite possibly the best pizza in Wales! It was was absolutely brilliant at a surprisingly low price! 11/10 would 100% recommend!

Myself and 3 friends had food here and we were violently ill for 2 days. Avoid this place at all costs 🤢☠️

Best kebab for miles around! Their lamb kebabs (shish) used to have a much nicer marinade but they're still decent. Chips are super tasty but (as advertised in the shop) are fried in oil from Genetically Modified plants (GM) so that puts us off and we get chips from the chippy. Hence the 4 stars vs 5. Otherwise - fair prices and good food options. From pizza to mozzarella sticks to kebabs. It's a good takeaway.
