Terlingfair Kennels

Merely worth the one star! Took my dog here Sunday to Thursday, without doing much research into the place (silly I know). It is on the side of the A12 with fast moving traffic just metres away. I took him in and the girl who worked there didn’t even ask for his proof of up to date vaccinations.

Today my partner picked him up, in a terrible state. He was soaking wet and muddy, smelling extremely strong of urine, couldn’t bark, and was shaking all the way home.

I called up the kennels and explained that I didn’t think he had been looked after very well. They got very defensive and abrupt, claiming he was fine and there was nothing wrong with him, and if they knew what day he was being picked up he may of been washed (even though they knew this).

He smelt so bad, that we have had to get the car valeted and it still smells of urine!

I will not ever send my dog here again and I strongly advise anyone not to take your dog to this place!

Great communication from the owners and he was very well looked after. He stayed for 2 weeks.
Would highly recommend and will get him booked in again in a couple of weeks.

Brodie has been to these kennels twice now and has loved both times, great communication with photos as well, they were very understanding and really put my mind at rest when I got covid and Brodie had to stay on

Sorry only left one star by mistake my American bulldog Mabel was very calm and happy when I collected her , again would recommend this boarding kennel to anyone

Absolutely amazing!!! Both Milo and Tilly had a great time and was in the best care!! Got photo updates of the happy pooches and they didn’t want to come home. Totally recommend, Milo will be back for more cuddles 🥰

Great service from the team here. We dealt with Emily who was friendly and gave us the confidence to leave our Labrador who can be fussy! We will certainly be back. Thank you!

E was fantastic and said i could come and take a look before committing. The A12 side of the field is high fenced but the fields side is only 3ish feet however E offered to keep my dog on a long training lead for exercise in their field as i was concerned (she can be randomly nervous and run). I think she had a great time and i have no concerns about going back :-)
