Since it has change management things have improved no ends.

Really people that love animals. They treat others pets has if they were their own.

The comfort and care of my dog came first. Where Apollo was scared and anxious when he was here last time, the new couple seemed to have found away to make him feel at home.

We left our 14 year old cat here for 2 weeks. The young gent that sorted us out clearly loves animals. The facilities leave a lot to be desired though..

We came back, the cat was full on hanging off the side of the "outdoor" enclosure, hissing like crazy. The young guy had to use a towel to get him off the wall. Properly out of character. Not sure what the cat didn't like but I wasn't a fan of the facilities. Needs some investment for sure.

I have 2 Black Labradors boarded for the first time with Kirkby Kennels , and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Pamela and David, the owners, very clearly love animals and talk about their boarders by name telling me all their little characters.....one of my Labs is nervous and doesn't like kennels, and gets stressed, but not this time, when I picked them up they ran straight to Pamela and David for a play!!!! The dogs and the kennels were spotlessly clean, rates are super reasonable and I have 2 very happy unstressed pooches. Well done Kirkby!!!!

I use these a couple of weeks a year. Always find the owners very friendly and helpful. They really seem to be 'dog people' . On collection our dog is happy and clean so she's obviously been looked after. I do take my own bedding and food for my dog which they are happy to use for her. When I forgot a toys for my dog they have them to buy so it's all good.

Fantastic people and my dog was happy there and will certainly return again soon. Not the usual kennel disinfectant smell on the dog either which was nice as my dog refuses a bath hes too big to argue or wrestle with too.

My dog is not the easiest to look after, however the owner did a great job. Very happy.

Have used the kennels for the last 8 years for my dog and cat. They have always been well looked after.

Couldn't recommend enough. I've never left my babies ( dogs ) before and I was so apprehensive about leaving them with someone they didn't know.
Well this lady is incredible, she sent me videos and pics and reassured me the whole time. They are looking forward to their next visit. Thank you xx
