Leighton-Linslade Shoe Repairs, Keys & Engraving

I have been taking my shoes here for a number of years and each time I am always very impressed with the quality of work. The team at the shop have always been very friendly.

I found the service here very poor. I needed the work done urgently
and I was told it would take two days. So I returned two days later and
they weren't done. I was told to come back in twenty minutes. When I
returned the boots were repaired (well I thought they were repaired).
So I had to wait two days for a twenty minute rush job.

It is customary for shoe repairers to polish the boots or shoes they have
repaired, mine were not polished. The new heel was only half the thickness of the one it replace. After of few days of wearing the boots
the heel began to splay out over the edge. About eight weeks after the left heel began to fall of and I had to nail it back on. My workmanship
appears to be better than the young man in the shop. The right heel is
now falling off and I will also have to repair it myself. Now, I should add
that these boots are work wear and have a hard life but they are good
quality boots and if repaired properly should last a lot longer than eight to twelve week. Marks out of ten - a BIG 0

Very impressed, I have been to a lot of shoe repairers over the years and its hard to find a good job nowadays. i recently visited the shop in linslade before catching the train, to have leather soles fixed on my ted baker shoes. simply put the shoes were ready for me to pick up the next day and looked dare i say it better than new, very happy. Not to mention some stores in london would quote me a 4-5 day turn around for a leather shoe repair.

If I could score 0 I would!!! Ordered a trophy last Saturday and was told it would be ready and engraved on Tuesday. Went in on Wednesday to be told it wasn't there and would be in Thursday and engraved! Went back Saturday morning on the way to a football match where it was being presented and was told it had arrived the day before but was not engraved!! He then engraved it quickly while we waited. When we suggested he take telephone numbers in future as it isn't fair on clients having to come back and forth he had a very bad attitude and blamed everyone else!! Very bad customer service and very bad attitude, needless to say I will NEVER USE HIM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Took to have my shoes repaired and as I was on lunch rushed them through for me and they look great!

Superb traditional service. I’ve had loved old satchels repaired, modern Radley bags restitched and of course, shoes re-soled and heeled.

My partner took my watch to have the battery changed here. Too cut the story short they couldn't do it and the back of my watch is deeply and unnecessarly scratched where they tried and failed. Not sure why you wouldn't stop first time round rather than damaging my property. They then claimed it was glued on yet a jeweler proceded to do it effortlessly in less than 15 minutes. Really dissapointed as I know how easy a job it is the watch is a convential casio twist back to remove.
