Midlands PKA Kickboxing - Ilkeston

I've been kickboxing with Jo and Lee as my instructors for nearly five years, training on average two to three times a week, and I've never once had a disappointing lesson in that time.

Newcomers are always greeted with a friendly welcome and tend to become part of the group very quickly. All instructors and students are very friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable environment to train and an overall extremely enjoyable experience.

Lee and Jo provide expert tuition under a very watchful eye... Friendly and caring, but strong enough to put the children in their place without even raising their voices, they have given Noah (6) so much confidence since he started with them just over a year ago now.
We are always happy that Noah will be given the best advice to help him improve and guide him towards his next grading, and love the complete honesty given at all times.
The Little Dragons was an excellent starting point, guiding even the smallest ones through games but teaching basic moves all while.
In the Juniors class, the children still have fun but more emphasis is put on making sure that their moves are more accurate and that their basic range of moves is expanded.

I've been attending PKA Kickboxing for over a year and i thoroughly enjoy the amazing professional training given by Lee and Jo jones. They manage the lessons very well making sure everyone feels apart of the team and helping any individual to their very best to improve on what they need extra help.

Have been coming to Lee & Jo's classes for a few months now. From the first class everyone made me feel welcome and I was able to learn some kickboxing moves that were not hard to do or understand. The classes are mixed with beginners like myself and advanced kickboxers but everyone gets on and helps each other which is important to me because I came to the class by myself. In the short time I have been coming to the Ilkeston I feel more confident and have noticed that my balance and coordination has got better.

Jo, Lee & Amie are all brilliant instructors and I can't recommend their classes enough! They're always well taught with the right balance of hard work and fun, which leads to a great atmosphere for their students. I don't think anyone who is serious about Martial Arts would be disappointed in their classes. Top work!

I have been training at the Ilkeston class on a Thursday night for about 6 months now. Both instructors were very welcoming and helpful on the very first lesson.

You can tell they are both passionate and professional when it comes to the sport and teaching within the club.

You are always pushed to improve and you feel like your learning different techniques each time you go.

I'd defintley recommend PKA! I've done martial arts previously but the club is very appealing and welcoming to anyone that hasn't done any before.
