Sandpiper Pre school

My son started here in 2016 and it was very clear how happy he was!! My son is undergoing diagnosis for dyspraxia and it was Vikki and Maureen who picked up in this first and kept pushing for the lighthouse to help. My son's current school SEN support has done nothing. Loads of promises but nothing ever happened I have had to push them to help me but Maureen was the one pushing for others to help me.
My youngest is there now who is a severe epileptic and I can not fault each member for staff with her. She can not be too far away from someone and is always monitored. I have a great relationship with the staff here and I will be sad when my daughter leaves for school in September but again they have pushed for a lot of things for her and helped when I needed it with all her forms and any additional support she has needed.
I can not fault Maureen, Helena, Linda and Vikki they have always gone above and beyond for my 2 and also for me

I would give this no stars if i could!!! Completly failed my son who has ASD and was meant to be being helped. Staff were meant to be putting plans on place and writing to who they had to with a report. After being told by maureen that it was all done NOTHING had been done and my son has been left with no plan, no support, to just start a new school. I have learnt that were not the only parents who have had this problem and really feel that this is totally unacceptable!! The funding that the nursery recived for EACH SEN child and nothing was ever shown for it.. the school were now sending him to are disgusted and are working with me, my partner and my son, they have made everything available online for us from his progress to all his reports and plans and what they are sending. Not just word of mouth. Bottom line is you put your trust in these professionals to help your child through life and this nursery has failed!! The one member of staff named amy was the only good thing i can say about the whole place. Its a shame they let her go

Nice small group which 3 of my grandchildren have attended and been happy.
They communicated well with me on Tapestry and also with my childminded children.
Very experienced staff one of which is a trained teacher.
I liked the group as they had a varied programme and go out on trips.
