Howdens – Christchurch

You can but report as you find, we waited around the showroom for ten minutes, no one came in so I went to the trade counter, clearly the staff have a good rapport with their regular customers, but a stranger in the camp is just left standing around like a village idiot, when someone finally condescend to speak with me after dealing with one of their mates who came in after me, it seems that Howdens are reluctant ( point blank refused actually) to give you any prices of anything !...make of that what you will. We had been told to look at their range and price up a kitchen and bathroom by our insurance company, so we had no access to their national account details. It would be hard to reccomend them based on that experience,

Chap behind the counter didn't seem at all interested. I was enquiring about getting a new kitchen. He was just hard work.

How dens could not help us with our somewhat off-piste enquiry but we’re very helpful with suggestions about where else to try

Professional, friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Definitely the place to go for kitchen design and advice.

I have contacted management at Howdens and was sent a hostile letter written by a lawyer from the legal department.. If you dare to complain Howdens legal team will contact you. They have no complaint policy for customers!

Great staff and customers, helped with advise on what I needed with what I wanted. excellent service.
