Das Küchen Studio

From the mess left on the drive to the terrible quality of the installation, I had to go to court to resolve issues with this company the year following installation.

They asked for our money up-front, and as soon as it was received, they moved onto focus on their next sale and let their fitter pick up the pieces. We noticed the change in their attitude over the very week the cheque cleared.

We were left with a sink which was not been fitted properly and was blowing the laminate around it. Several independant assessments and communication from the sink manufacturer leave us in no doubt that the sink has been installed incorrectly. The company continued to refuse to fix it at their cost and we eventually had to put it right ourselves and then take them to court to be reimbursed (we won the claim against them).

Avoid this place.

We used Das Kuechen when doing a renovation kitchen diner rear extension. They use excellent German build products as we were after a contemporary look. The owner Silvia offered a great free design service with high definition rendered 3d visualisation. Previous to this we had visited Magnet and were so unhappy with the Magnet design & visualisation that we almost gave up on the project altogether. Silvia fixed all that. All through the process she give a great service and is so friendly. The end result is great and when we had a few small installation issues they sorted these quickly and the quality of her fitter is also excellent. Altogether a 5* experience.

I got in touch with Silvia recently despite it being over 11 years since our kitchen was fitted. She was a huge help in sourcing some additional shelves I wanted for the pull out larder units and made me feel I was still a valued customer. She went the extra mile to check the new shelf design was still compatible with our units and even dropped them in to the house as she was passing. Thank you!

Having run my own kitchen design and install business for many years and designed and built entire houses in a short time-frame on television, I have very high expectations from my suppliers. I have been working with Das Küchen Studio for a client's new-build and Silvia has been an absolute joy to work with. Nothing is too much trouble and she responds extremely efficiently at all times. The installer, Kieron, is a perfectionist, tidy on site and a pleasure to have around. Unlike any other kitchen company I have worked with, the kitchen was installed on time and within the expected timeframe. And it is superb quality. Silvia with the design and choice of materials and equipment, and Kieron with the fitting and installation, have been very receptive to all our ideas and helped us with excellent technical solutions at every step of the project. The Studio installed new worktops in quartz throughout our kitchen. The entire experience from visiting the shop, choosing material, obtaining a quote, to installation was very professional, friendly and easy. In particular the fitters went out of their way to make sure the process went ahead with the least inconvenience to us. The fitters were obviously highly skilled, in addition to being courteous and helpful, and the result is perfect. We are very pleased and happy to recommend to Studio to anyone.
