N J C Kitchens

For the kitchen in our new rear extension, we first went round some of the big showrooms to get ideas, and they helped us to draw up a plan. Then we went to Nick and Barbara Clisby, recommended by our project manager who had worked with them before. The contrast with the big companies was immense! Nick gave invaluable advice on the layout and functionality, had great ideas on surface finishes and design, and gave us confidence that we really did have enough space for an island unit. Other companies might have been cheaper but we decided to go with NJC – best decision we made! We also used their installer, who was superb. We were particularly impressed by their attention to detail at every stage – including Nick finding a tiny flaw in one of the cabinet doors, which we hadn’t noticed; Nick insisted it should be replaced and organised that. We now have a fabulous kitchen that surpasses our expectations. Unreserved recommendation!

One of my best decisions was selecting NJC Kitchens (Nick and Barbara) to design and install my kitchen. I had some (quirky) ideas and Nick not only embraced them, he made them better and added so much value. He went through everything so patiently with me too, ensuring all the finer details were considered so the design would work. The fitting work by one of their fitters was superb and the end result and quality of the kitchen truly excellent. A dream kitchen for sure. Thank you Nick and Barbara.

I photographed and styled two kitchens for them, and I can say that their designs are stunning. Not just beautiful but fitting the customers spaces and all done with a creative flair.
I believe that they have very high standards and they work with people and companies that they can deliver to the same standards.

Nick is a great kitchen designer. He and his wife Barbara have transformed my living space and utility area as though I have had an extension. The Hacker kitchens are amazing quality and everything has run smoothly from initial meetings to the finished kitchen. He really listened to what I wanted. The showroom is great and I chose everything from what I could see there. I would recommend this company 100%. They really know their stuff.

We visited the NJC showroom in Ealing, and Nick was incredibly helpful walking through the options and designs available (we instantly changed our initial thoughts on the colour and design). Our consultation with Nick allowed us to gauge the layout of the kitchen based the room design, space and our usage. Nick even recommended changes to our layout so the builders could optimise even more space, which has allowed us to have a deeper worktop.
Our installation was really smooth. Nick was always there to help answer questions with our builders, providing detailed guidance to our builders to make the installation as straightforward as possible. The NJC installation took just over a week to be fully fitted and process was like clockwork. It has been a pleasure seeing NJC taking real pride in delivering such a stunning kitchen, it really has been an outstanding service provided.

Not only a beautiful kitchen, very well installed, but truly excellent after sales care. I'm very happy with our decision to go with NJC. Can highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Barbara and Nick. From the design stage to installation to afterwards, we were made to feel at all times like very valued customers. Any issues were dealt with promptly and very effectively. In terms of the design process, our kitchen is now a wonderful blend of style and functionality. The willingness to work with us on the project in terms of providing creative solutions to help us keep within our budget was hugely appreciated. Their fitter is also extremely precise and did a wonderful job. We would not hesitate to recommend NJC for a great customer experience and a very stylish and practical kitchen!

If you want a fabulous kitchen go with Nick and Barbara. From start to finish their expertise and guidance was fantastic. They helped us create a truly fantastic new kitchen. We used their installation team and Nick came over several times to make sure everything went smoothly. I can't recommend them enough. The service does not stop after the install. Nick has helped us with several requests since and it has always been above and beyond any expectations. If you want the best experience ever, use Nick and Barbara!
