Optiplan Kitchens - Lichfield

Myself and the good lady went into Optiplan a couple of months ago. We arranged an appointment and a kitchen designer came around to measure up and to create a design. 2 months later, we are still waiting for the design.

Do not try to call as nobody answers the phone.

I have been promised the design on numerous occasions and still haven't received it.

This looks like another pop-up kitchen showroom with no customer service. Luckily we found this out before we parted with our money!

Zero stars for me (if I could).

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!

Design- perfect absolutely great we had high hopes of our dream Kitchen.

Delivery of goods- Average bits didn't come with the kitchen and 3 months later they still aren't on site!

Communication- pathetic absolute joke! We had a guy come over to finalise everything before installation where everything was discussed, Installer turned up (we had to inform him the kitchen had arrived) and he did whatever he wanted to regardless of previous information. He didn't look at any plans to our knowledge other than the ones I printed off myself. Our walls were damaged and they left a total mess after crashing in the kitchen in a day!

We are still waiting for the kitchen to be finished almost 3 months later still with no completion date. Before christmas.....who knows unless i do it myself.

STAY AWAY IS MY ADVICE!

The Customer Service is worse than that of a start up company and their ability to provide any answers is non existent. It would appear they are quick to bank your money and certainly not a cheap kitchen and yet some 2.5 weeks after delivery we are still being held up with missing parts with no answers provided. They do a great front end job on design and the ability of their Showroom Managers. However, the operational back end let's this company down severely. And the Customer Service teams support is worse than that of a start up company. 2.5 weeks after having the kitchen delivered, we still have a major snag list with tradespeople on hold to be able to complete. I wouldn't recommend Optiplan in future. There are good brands out there that are much better set up clearly to delight customers rather than antagonise them. Do yourself a favour and choose an alternative brand.

Great experience! Daljit at Optiplan was with us every step of the way and produced a great product. He guided us through the steps and visited outside of his work hours to ensure our satisfaction. They will install or allow you to install yourself which also offers flexibility. Very pleased with the outcome.

The moment we had first discussion about our Kitchen with Adam from Lichfield store, we knew we are in safe hands now. Full satisfied with our Kitchen design service we recieved. He guided us what works cost wise and Aesthetically too.

Great experience with Optiplan Kitchens from start to finish the level of service was brilliant. Showroom staff were so friendly and supportive, they helped me plan my dream kitchen! Can't fault anything from start to finish, would definitely recommend Optiplan Kitchens!!

Excellent service from Seth Colton at Lichfield. It's taken 6 weeks to design a kitchen to suit a large extension that met my very exacting requirements; and provided for cooking, socialising and "enjoying the view capability" - through the process I was challenged, advised and taken out of my comfort zone. Thrilled with the finished design.

Optiplan do not deserve a one star rating. They should NOT be trading! Please do not part with any money. I placed an order with them in July 2021. They delivered a kitchen of poor quality, peeling, bubbling and different shades of black. Communication at this point was poor, however was soon to find out it would get worse. They pushed me into deadlock and lied to the ombudsman about the situation. 13 months of living with 2 ovens and a microwave, no sink or running water, no worktops no cupboards to store anything. We now have a kitchen minus a fridge door (we are currently at 16 months post order). No one answers your calls, emails or text messages. The customer services manager actually blocked my emails. They lack morals, have no customer service and the management team lack all sense of responsibility and accountability, and professionalism. Please walk away do NOT a place an order.
