Lakeland

Whilst the products they sell are, on the whole very good, albeit somewhat expensive, their home delivery service is pretty poor in this day and age. Best offered was 3-5 days, after collection from a wharehouse that had the items in stock, by their chosen carrier and they would collect that day.
They call this a free service but I doubt that if we had been able to take the goods from the shop, had they been in stock, that we have been offered the delivery cost as a refund
We were told the carrier would contact on the day of delivery. It's now 4 days later and afternoon and still no contact. Tomorrow is Saturday and there will be no one here.
We think this is unacceptable, especially since on that same afternoon at 13:35, we ordered an item from the south of England that was picked, wrapped and collected by that firms choosen carrier and delivered to us the very next day (by DPD) at 09:55, well within the 1 hour time window of 09:45/10:45,they had given us by txt at 09:00.
Come on Lakeland, you should be doing better and given us consumers much better customer service.

Good range of kitchenware etc. I called the store beforehand to check if they had what i wanted in stock, and when i came to collect it, they'd put it aside for me behind the till. I'm pleased with the quality of what I bought too.

Amazing service, staff always really lovely and helpful. Great quality products and if you want to return them there's a long guarantee. Also a great range of products. Bit expensive but worth every penny. One of my all time fav shops

Love lakeland when we can get in 1. This is as good as all the others. Staff were really helpful. A lady called Lyn was extremely helpful as she said as they didnt keep an item instore but was available online for free, which we didnt know. She got all the information to order the product at the checkout and paid with our other items. Great quality and variety of products. Always have to go here

I have been a customer of Lakeland for many many years, and whilst I like to browse on line, I still just love the catalogues when they arrive and read them from cover to cover .That being said, I have recently moved to Norwich so have one of the beautiful stores close by, and I absolutely love to shop there whenever I can, as the staff in the Norwich store go out of their way to make sure that you get the very best customer experience.
The ladies in the Norwich store are amazing ! There is always a friendly cheery hello of welcome when you go in, and the offer of assistance should you require it. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff in store, and they go the extra mile to make sure that you have all you were looking for, and that you are happy with your purchase.So wonderful after all the months of lockdown to find people that enjoy meeting their customers and genuinely want to help them.Thanks to “Maggie” for all her help with my new rotary washing line purchase. Maggie went out of her way to make sure we had exactly the right one to suit our needs, and all done with a lovely smile and sense of humour.It made shopping in store a pleasure and not a chore .Who could have guessed buying a washing line would have been so enjoyable !
Well done Lakeland, you continue to offer your customers the best customer service from your teams , great quality products, with the just the best guarantee, with the jewel in the crown being the stores for those of us lucky enough to have one nearby, and as the face of your company on the high street, the Norwich store shines !

What a lovely shop !
My cat Billy has two beds of his own but the only place he will sleep is in a pop up food cover from Lakeland.

Last week I went into the Lakeland store in Norwich and spotted a dual slow cooker. Ideal for me as I'm a vegetarian and my husband is a meat eater. However, I am disabled and had come by bus. The lady I spoke to was lovely and went to see the manager, Alan. One of the most pleasant and courteous people I have met in a very long time. I was told it would be no problem and minutes later Alan was carrying the slow cooker to the bus station for me. He made sure I was safely seated before leaving me to continue my journey. I am 76 years old and had thought such service was a thing long past. He restored my faith in human nature. Thank you Alan and all the staff at Lakeland. The cooker has been in daily use since and it is brilliant!

What a very pleasant experience at the Cambridge store. Elizabeth and Diane who were serving in the shop were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with making the whole experience of shopping there a pleasure. A real asset to the store.
