We (the wife and I) started allotmenting this spring. Our experience of the community at Obridge allotments had been really positive. Lots of the old hands are totally happy to share knowledge, advice, tools, tea, coffee, time, fruit and veg! We are not alone!

My dad has just got one of the allotments and this was the first time I had been allowed inside. It is quite an amazing space, much bigger than I expected with quite an eclectic mix of allotments! I am sure my dad will welcome the company and enjoy pottering about once more. Update 28 Aug 22: dad loves it and his allotment is thriving (not sure whether his courgette plant is part of an alien invasion though)

This allotment site always makes visitors very welcome they have a spacious, warm garden room to share allotment stories and a cup of tea or coffee.
