Really good quality food - tapas style. Would absolutely recommend trying Maya - we will come back when we are next down from Kent. Waiting staff first class. Add a few minutes to find a parking spot. Some unusual beers as well. Well worth going. 4 of us all in £135.

Had a lovely dinner in Maya a few weeks back- really loved the prawn tacos, the gorgeous corn and the crispy pork!!
Wasn’t a big fan on the ceviche, I felt that it could improve in terms of freshness but flavours were on point.
Still super keen for another visit for the other dishes and cocktails.

Now this place is a gem in Portsmouth. It has rave reviews and I can add to that collection of positive feedback. The interior is very welcoming and warm - perfect for a group reservation or table for two.
The food is phenomenal in it’s flavours and presentation. The tapas style allows for a mind blowing mixture of flavours and textures. You can order some of the meat options, fish and vegetable options all at once and have a really fun feast. It is a great concept that is used all over the world but it’s executed perfectly at Maya.
The cocktails and mocktails are just that cherry on top for your experience to be complete. You will love their variety of options for alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks which cleanse your palate as you move onto your next small plate.
Be aware that this is a very popular restaurant so be sure to reverse a table for yourself and make the most of the dining experience.
I highly recommend this restaurant for the locals, students and anyone visiting the area. You’ll be left feeling highly satisfied.

Do not hesitate. This is the place to eat in Portsmouth. Loved it.

Food is super and there is something for everyone. Take the advice of the hosts on how much to order.

Will return, so book your table before I book it.

Lovely restaurant, fantastic service. Celebrated a birthday and the food is always delicious.

Few new things to the menu, including tacos in lettuce which were amazing!
Huge variety and many dishes to select from.

We shall be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great food drinks location and service. A very interesting restaurant with multiple dishes like tapas that offer great tastes and flavour combinations.
Reservations are required as this is a popular restaurant and will probably be required.
I tried many dishes and I was very impressed with them all. The corn on the cob was absolutely amazing. The pork belly again was superb and everything I tried I really enjoyed.
Great cocktails and choices too. Excellent service highly recommended

Lovely food, great service too. Didn't get many pictures because we were running out of space on the table and needed to get it eaten! The portions are bigger than standard tapas dishes, so be wary of ordering things thinking there won't be enough to share! Cocktails are good as well, the caiparinha is particularly good, just like they make it in Portugal. I had a non alcoholic one, think it was called a refresher, and it was so good!
Highly recommended over-all.
