Parkfield Launderette

Super service from friendly attendants. Laundry is always folded so neatly that it requires the minimum of ironing. Good value service that frees up my time to do other things.

We have been taking our washing to this launderette because of a water leak in our kitchen led to it needing to be completely stripped out. I cannot recommend the service here highly enough. The service washes are fantastic. A big thank you from me for all the work from these ladies.

Extremely unhappy with how I was dealt with by the employee there. I went in at 4.30 and asked about closing time, was told that it closes at 5.30. she also said. I must be finished by then as she locks the doors exactly at that time. I asked how long the wash took ,& was told 3/4 he. So I said that it would then be ok for me to wash, without drying my clothes. She said yes, but that she closes at 5.30 and will not stay a minute longer, as she is not the owner, why should she! I proceeded to get my washing from my car and my money, then started to load the machine all the time watched by the woman, who kept making comments about closing soon. I put my washing powder and comfort in the machine, & was just about to put in the money, when she said to me..."it won't finish in time,l will be closing", so I asked her if she meant that I couldn't do the washing, she said there wouldn't be time. I told her you have just watched me struggle to bring in my laundry, you have watched me load the machine and put the soap etc in it, now you want me to empty it. She said, she had been open since nine, and I should've brought it then. I replied that some of us have other responsibilities. I thought it extremely rude of her to say that, as it is not her business to tell her customers when they should do their washing. I had to unload the machine, struggle to put it back into the bags and carry it back to the car, I was really upset, crying angry and offended at her treatment of me. I guess the loss of £11.00 of trade doesn't mean that much to them. I really would recommend that people avoid using this launderette. Horrible behaviour.

Staff always helpful, until recently always took advantage of the service wash. Never had a problem.

Reasonable priced washing and drying and excellent customer service highly recommend it.

I went there to do a wash and tumble dry. There was clutter such as soap powder box, bottle of fabric conditioner, bags and laundry baskets strewn almost everywhere. The inside of the tumble dryers looked a bit dirty. I would only go there again just to do a quick wash.
