The Washbowl Launderette

Ruth and Dave turned it into a very enjoyable activity to wash all my clothes from my hiking trip in Scotland. Now I'm fresh to travel back home to Switzerland. Definitely recommend this place 👍🏻

I recently moved to Chorley and had no washing machine for a few days. When it finally got installed there was a problem so I needed to sort out my growing pile of washing. I called my local laundrette and spoke to Ruth. She was so helpful and 6.30am the next morning I dropped off 2 big liners of clothes. I collected them at 10am and they were washed, dried and folded so no need to iron! I have used her ever since. Thank you Ruth!

Brilliant, the lady who runs this place is a diamond, so helpful and the machines are always in tip top condition, which gives good results, yes!!

Fantastic place to go. Ruth is so helpful and helped me navigate the machines. Ruth also gave me tips on cleaning my feather topper and gave me the right detergent for the job. Will be back with more items.

I can't thank Ruth, the lovely lady who looks after the launderette, enough. 3 duvets in one go for a service wash and they have come back on time and feel and smell lovely. I don't think they've ever been so clean since new. Even better is the fact that it cost me a fraction of what other people had quoted. And there's parking outside. I can't recommend The Washbowl enough.

Ruth and Dave are very friendly with hearts of gold.
And found out that Dave sells bags of Logs and Kindling and it’s the best in Town and the best prices you must try!!
