Launderette

It is what it says it is, a launderette.

A little pricy for what it is (4.5£ for a small load, 5.5£ for a large load, 50p for washing powder, 50p per 5 minutes of dryer use).

There's no change machine, so be sure to bring coins. :)

It's been part of the local community for at least 25 years. People come to get their laundry done, and occasionally chat to the nice woman who's been running the place behind the scenes in all that times.

Never any staff on the premises. The coin machine is temperamental, a few times ive inserted 3 or 4 pound coins, but the last one keeps coming out, then you can't eject the coins you've already put in, and it times out and loose all your money.
These launderettes are dated.....they need like a pre paid card operated facility, because it's so bloody hard to get change nowadays.....had to walk about for 30 minutes just trying to get change from somewhere.

First time we've used a lauderette...I can't believe how extortionate they are...Plus it's only a cold wash!!! Disgraceful!!!

No one is here, and the paypoint keeping swallowing the coins. I can't pay with bank card, just coins and this is so annoying.

Horrible places, the old man close the shop earlier than the time, with all our clothes inside drying. He knows that and he dind't even mind.

Machine takes money and doesn’t work. No one around or contact number to help

Been using this place for a couple of years. Most of the time it's clean, had a couple of problems loosing money in the machine but never been able to get some to get a refund. Thats the only problem, I'm owed about £15 now.
