Eltham Launderette

Took my king duvet and 4 pillows to be washed and dried, just £18 I had to pay. Great!
I gave him £20 x

Used to use this Laundry for years to have my feather duvets collected cleaned and dropped back to other end of High St. When I moved to Coldharbour they still did the same until the owner retired and sold the business. New owners wouldn't do a collect and drop so changed to Mottingham laundrette.

I recently moved back to the Laundrette end of Eltham. Took a slow walk in to check prices etc. It is only around the corner from me now. New owner about a year.

Amal was working hard, such a lovely, friendly and helpful lady as was the owner.

It was very busy in there how it used to be. She asked the owner prices for collection and service wash. £5 extra, very reasonable.

Collected that evening from my home and just dropped back, Friday lunchtime.

Okay so prices have rise but so have energy prices. Also the staff do need to be paid a decent wage!.

1 x Kingsize goose feather and down duvet.
1 x single goose feather and down duvet.

Total cost with collect/drop and a service wash £40 and I could pay via bank trans.

My opinion, everything is perfect. Lovely people and great personal service..

Will get my new curtains cleaned here when the time comes also. Shrank my last new ones washing on a low wash and line dying at home. Letting the professionals do them in future.

I have withdrawn my previous review which was complimentary to this laundrette and edited it, here's my new review, the management has now changed and the friendly lady who was pleasant and made the place welcoming has now been replaced by a gentleman who for all wants and purposes seem to be more money oriented and seems to force service washes on people, to add to that there was a time when you could decide how much you as a customer wanted to pay to dry your laundry this has now changed to a minimum fee of £4 for drying which I think is ludicrous as your clothes are well dry before then which means he pockets the remainder, there was a time I liked using this laundrette but I'm now switching to the much friendlier and customer focused laundrette on Westmount road, will only now use this laundrette as the very last resort and that comes even if I cant hand wash my clothes, it's sad because what was once a nice service has now been destroyed. hope this review helps.

Good service but could do without the heavy smell of cigarette smoke as you walk in.

Best in eltham. Most friendliest and nicest people there, and their service are just amazing. Me and my neighbors all go there for self wash. Their prices are for everyone from £3 for 30 minutes dryer and optional £4 for 45 minutes for winter times. They are nice people that are also trying to run the shop with all these energy bills increases. I also disagree with those reviews saying they force service wash, honestly they welcome you with a smile and do your self wash directly if not they offer their service for complete wash, dry, folding, and all in clean bags for £12. I will keep going to them and show support because they helped me alot.

I always do my washing here. The staff are friendly, will have a chat and offer a hot or cold drink when doing my own laundry.
They offer to collect washing and deliver back to the home.

Very good service and affordable prices. Staff are very nice and friendly. Clothes come out clean and fresh after being washed. I come here once a week to wash my clothes. I recommend this laundry it is very good.
