The Laundromat

A launderette. You need to bring pound coins or 20p pieces (good luck with that in an increasingly cash less society). There's a small vending unit selling little soap powder boxes for 70p (or go to Sainsbury's down the road or Tesco express next door). There are parking bays out the front which are 30 minutes no return for 2 hours. There's a pay and display around the back in Victoria Place. Biggest machine is a 23kg load which was £8 for a cycle, two smaller were 16kg for £6 and (I think) 8 for £4. Driers were £1 for ten minutes but some of the machines took £2 and 50p coins. They do service washes but there was nobody around when I went in (I didn't want a service wash however).

£4.00 - £8.00 to wash, dryers are reasonable too. It's easy to use and usually very clean. Come in the mornings during the week and there is usually someone there to help you too.

Glad you can use contactless to pay for washing and drying.

£4.40 for a large washing machine; bargain.

Good clean machines lovely dryers

Clean and tidy, had no bad experiences since I've been going. Could sort if not already sorting the 4 washing machines that are out of order.

Still the best laundrette for a long distance but…

Wasted my time coming here today. 5 out of the 10 washers are out of service. Cheers guys 👍
