Beeston Launderette

I normally use Broadgate Laundry Services but it was closed for a few days. I came to Beeston Laundrette and I was pleasantly surprised, I think it works out slightly cheaper (£4 for the smaller washer) and the machines seemed cleaner (no mould in the powder compartment), so I'll probably come here in the future!

When it's damp outside I can dry my laundry here. On Saturday afternoon I was able to use 3 machines to do it faster. After 12:00 there's no-one on duty. Machines need 20p coins so I needed to obtain them elsewhere

The machines take pound coins and some takes 20 pence coins. There is no machine to break notes / coins down.

The machines are fast and efficient. There are plenty of washers and dryers. Some washers can finish a cycle between 10 - 15 minutes.

This place is unmanned, but there are instructions on the wall.

However the detergent trays have not been cleaned for ages, with left over detergent and mould growing on all of them. Hence only 3 stars.

Amazing laundrette! Only trick is you need to slam the door for the smaller machines, owner was very helpful there too.

Great services and prices even at short notice will definitely use again when back in the area 😊😊

Most important thing that timings are really good, open up to 13 hours like 7am to 8pm.

Washer broke down, managed to find this one open on a Sunday only took 30 mins to wash full load in big washer. Have since been and bought one.

Nothing fancy but gets the job done. Being lots of pounds coins (for the washers) and 20p pieces (for the dryers).
