Not happy with the ironing I had done yesterday. 10 items and all had creases in them!! I ironed one to go out in on Saturday that had a few creases. Took it to High Class to improve on what I had done and it had more creases in it after they had 'ironed' it. Unfortunately I wont be using this service again. I'm sure all businesses have their bad days though. It may have been one of those. I hope so for future customers. People there were very friendly though. I didn't know of the creases until I got the items home. :(

I used High Class Ironing a few times. The first time, some of the trousers came back missing buttons and most of our clothing were still creased. Each time our items came back following that, the creases weren't any better. The straw that finally broke the camels back was when I was expecting them to deliver my clothing the following day after collection I waited from 6pm to 9pm and no one arrived. When I contacted them the following day I expressed my frustration and asked if they could give me a little more of an accurate time (when someone will be coming to deliver my washing) seeing as I was unconvinced the day before. The guy on the phone said absolutely not and put the phone down in my ear. I have never experienced such horrendous service in my life where the supplier treats a customer in this matter. Regardless of creases in my clothing as I dont believe I can do a better job seeing as I outsource the service I could never deal with this sort of service. I work in a customer based company myself and no matter how frustrated a client will get I have always treated them with respect and tried to help in the best way possible, even if it would inconvenience me. Sad how some businesses/people who rely on customers to make a living cannot treat them as if they appreciate them and their business.

Fantastic Service. Reasonably Priced. I use this Company 2 - 3 times a month as I have had a stroke. The Service is Second to None. Last October I broke my wrist High Class Ironing collected and delivered my Ironing, they also checked to see if I needed anything. This Company should be commended. Thank you.

A very professional company who always strive to provide the best service. Having used this service regularly for a few years now, I have never experienced any issues, and clothes have returned in excellent condition and delivered by friendly staff on time. Would definitely recommend

I've had a few bad experiences so definitely won't be using them again. Not turning up, not bringing ironing back when they say they will (dry cleaned duvet that went awol for 3 months that I still had to pay in full and had no apology for..), badly creased clothes and bed linen and then, the final straw, a beautiful Reiss top that was returned with dark marks on the front of it. My texts and photo's were ignored by the owner for a week so today I called and apparently there is "no way" that the marks could have anything to do with them (the top wasn't returned in a protected plastic cover so I would imagine there are many ways dirt/oil marks could be transported on to the top and wouldn't be seen in the dark by the drop off driver - John say there was absolutely no way this could happen - incredulous!). The shirt was hanging to the front of the ironing when it was returned so as soon as I saw the marks I reported them to John the owner. John is refusing liability - I said would rather resolve the issue for the £100 + blouse than have to deal with it in a small claims court but John told me to go ahead and do that. End of conversation. I have always tried to be reasonable with John but despite this he has a tendency to be vey rude and off hand at times, which is a shame, as his drivers who pick up and drop off have been great!! I wouldn't recommend if you want your clothing ironed at a sub standard level, you'll only have to re-iron a load of it when you get it home and if anything is damaged it wouldn't possibly be their fault.

Decided to close pass a cyclist in Preswold Lane at 8.15 on the 22nd July just so they could turn into a drive 10 metres later. If you care about people’s lives, don’t use this company.

*Update*. I’m sure the company would like me to remove the review but that’s not the point and actually makes me even more annoyed. Perhaps they should ensure that their drivers know how to drive before letting them drive their vans. I’ll now be leaving further reviews on other websites due to their reply.

We have been using High Class Ironing for a fair few months now. Always friendly and very efficient when dropping off/collecting our ironing. Even used their collection/delivery service during lockdown which was do easy to arrange. Clothes are always perfectly ironed and always ready when agreed. Would heartily recommend to anyone looking for an ironing service.

It is such a luxury to have clothes and bed linen ironed for me.
And to have it collected and delivered is also really great.
Everyone at High Class ironing is so friendly and professional.
The online booking service is a great new addition and very easy to use.
